Overall, others give this:
I bought my blender about a month ago but didn't use it. Then one day I had some drink mix in the cabinet and decided to to use the blender. Wow, it blended the ingredients so perfectly that my guest were all impressed. It scored a 7.0 in a scale of one to 6.
I was given this as a gift, had I been the original purchaser...I wouldn't have bought this item. The machine has only two speeds and a "pulse" setting. The blades are shaped in a manor that will not allow them to chop and blend any ice or frozen fruit well. It creates the "air pocket" near the blades and will not blend up a stiff smoothie well either. I make a daily shake/smoothie and this product makes it a challenge each day. I usually have to put in 3 or 4 pieces of ice at a time until it finally chops most of it up, then add milk, powder, fruit, etc... I can't make it very stiff or it wont blend it well, and by the time I'm done making the smoothie the motor is a little hotter than it should be. Mine is less than a year old and the seal/bearing on the blade shaft is starting to leak/not hold liquids. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anybody that needs to blend cold drinks and/or frozen items.
I bought this blender and, like everyone else, am appalled that they even still sell it. I figured that they would have taken it off the market quickly once realizing how HORRIBLE it is! While blending vegetables for gazpacho, mainly tomatoes, it began to smoke because it couldn't blend them! Can you give no stars? Do NOT buy this blender!
I can't believe they would sell a blender as bad as this one. It simply doesn't work very well. Like another reviewer's experience, my new blender can't even blend bananas or melons. It leaves small chunks no matter how long I run it. I've tried different speeds to no avail. Wouldn't they test the product before selling it. This blender replace a 10+ year old $17.99 Hamiltion Beach blender that worked perfectly for quite a few years of daily use.

Do not purchase this blender. The motor and blades do not work. I cannot make a simple sauce with tomatoes and chili peppers. Does anyone have the warranty customer telephone number. I will like to get my money back. I lost my receipt and threw away the manual and box.
I bought this about 11 months ago and have used it maybe 5 times if that and it just broke the blade mechanism as other people have posted about thier unit. This thing is junk as I think there was a design flaw I guess I am out of luck now.

I bought this blender few months ago and I am returning it tomorrow it stopped working, by the way it would not blend even bananas and some apple juice it is absolutely hopeless. I wish Sears will remove it from their stores.
Have had blender less than 4 months. Used to make milkshakes about once a week. Last time it worked it started to whine and smoke. No receipt No warranty. Hadn't kept receipt because I only expected it to last about 1 yr anyway Any ideas where to buy a good blender that will last?
I just wanted to make some frozen drinks, is that so difficult? Apparently for this blender it was. I was using ice cubes from my freezer, not big chunks out of a bag. Even when I left it roaring for two minutes, it still couldn't blen it all. The closest I came was when I pre-crushed my ice as it came out of the freezer. But even with that there were too many pieces to use a straw. Now I understand the difference between the $40 and the $200 blenders. I give it two stars, only because it looks nice and the pitcher is glass.
