Choose A Rooftop Or Hitch Carrier For Your Sports Equipment

Transporting skis, snowboards, bicycles and other recreational equipment is easy when you shop at Sears. Find rooftop racks from Thule and hitch-mounted boxes and bike carriers for all of your transporting needs.

A roof rack kit must first be installed on the rooftop to allow installation of a cargo carrier. The kit mounts on the roof or side rails of the vehicle and fits most cars, vans and SUVs. It includes bars, feet, locks and installation hardware. Made of heavy duty rust-resistant steel, it can hold up to 165-pounds.

After installation of the roof rack kit, a Thule cargo carrier can then be mounted onto the bars. Made of PVC-coated polyester, the carrier can hold up to 100-pounds of cargo, which gives you more interior vehicle space for long trips. Straps and a storage bag are included.

If you're into winter sports, Thule carriers come in models that are 82-inches long and hold five or six pairs of skis and poles. Dual-side openings let you open the carrier from either side of the vehicle. Oversized push buttons make it easy to open when wearing gloves. Factory mounting hardware and locks are included.

Carry surfboards, kayaks and sailboards with a universal rooftop carrier. Non-skid blocks, tie-down straps and bumper hooks are included to safely hold your boards and rowing equipment.
