My French-door was installed just three hours ago. Love the lights in the frig, the energy-savings aspects of the doors and the touch pad. I don't have ice yet, but think it will happen in the next 5 minutes. It sure gave my kitchen (and me) a big lift. The auto/preset temperatures are great.

If you want a refrigerator that will last, do not purchase one from Sears. I purchased this product and the ice maker broke after two years. Sears' product quality has declined significantly. And this is a Kenmore Elite brand....just think what the Kenmore product must be like..

I've had this for 8 months - I like the features and the capacity of this fridge, but... IT WON'T SHUT OFF - my old fridge was 18 years old and louder than this one, but it shut off often and house was quite at night - this one won't shut off so you constantly hear the compressor which has a high pitched noise you can hear a couple rooms away when the rest of the house is quite - tech support says that it is designed to stay on 90% of the time since most of the energy is used when starting the compressor. I'd rather spend a few more bucks a month for a quiter fridge.

Went from side by side to this style with some apprehension. After several months I still absolutely love it. Bottom freezer is cavernous, love the smaller ice cubes, which can be easily dumped into the large ice bucket on top freezer drawer to fill for entertaining. Have never run out of ice. Shelves adjust to fit your usage, i.e. two liter bottles, 12packs of soda, eggs/etc. Plenty of freezer and fridge space. Love the bright lights that illuminate everything so well. Doors came off easily by delivery guys to fit through doorway. Very Minor complaints- Wish temperatures illuminated on outside door were actual temperatures, rather than the settings to adjust them-ice maker occasionally can jam/ice sticks together if not used regularly, needing to be knocked loose.

we haven't had any problems with this frig,it's quiet,and we love the bottom freezer.The only issue I found is that it doesn't hold a 2 litre bottle of soda,but not really a big deal for us.

Great buy. Much room. Have only had a few weeks but ice maker working great the only problem is that if you don't keep the cup close to the top the chips scatter. Freezer with an enormous amount of room. So far so good. Moved from a side by side which I will never purchase again !
