Kenmore Intuition 31200
Pros: - Excellent suction. - Foot activated height adjustment (no more bending down). - Quiet - Long hose reach - Dirt sensor let's you know how much dirt you're picking up - Easy to push (we have low-pile carpeting) - feels self propelled - Long cord (35 ft) Cons: - Heavy (21 pounds) - Can be harder to push on higher pile carpeting Overall, I think this is an excellent vacuum. This vacuum replaced an aging Oreck XL and it outperforms the Oreck by leaps and bounds. Even though the Intuition is heavy, an average person should have no problem maneuvering it around the house. The vacuum seems durable and will last for years. P.S. We got the Intuition online Thanksgiving night for $249.99 and picked it up in store Black Friday.

Frequent Clogs

I purchased this item recently and it's been in the shop more than in my house with clogs I couldn't get to and check bag light coming on.  The technician just called me today and said it is because of the U design, the she found a polly pocket shoe, popcorn kernals and food in there and that vacuum is only meant to pick up dust.  I had a previous Kenmore vacuum for 5 years that was a master at everything I needed it to do.  I'm very disappointed with this one.  With a family of 7 and a requirement of using the vacuum every other day, this for sure didn't meet our needs.  I told the sales rep the one I was replacing and how frequently it was used, I wish he hadn't just pointed me to the newest model because the tech explained the new model was different with that U design.  The technician recommended vacuuming with a shop vac, then using the vacuum to get all the fine dust left.  Just what I need as a mother of 5, to have to vacuum twice as much!  I hope I am still within the window to return it and that it gets back from the shop in time!

Intuition Upright Vacuum

I love the long cord, but the cut in the plug to attach to cord for putting it away is too small to fit around the cord. The sweeper is very powerful and easy to use.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

New Vacuum

Great design and features but it is heavy and a bit hard to maneuver. Handle is a bit awkward. In the store it seemed fine but after you vacuum a few rooms its not truly comfortable. Love the telescoping wand and also that the controls are on the handle or foot operated - no bending over

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Most Powerful INDEED!

Wow! At first I was afraid, I was petrified...The amount of debris coming out of my carpet the first time I used it made me think it was too powerful. It appears the second time I vacuumed the first pass picked up everything the old vac missed; I am less worried about what may be in my carpet with the rug-rats scurrying around. Thanks Kenmore for this much power and Hepa to boot!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

so far great purchase!

It is a powerful vacuum and the cord is long enough in our townhome to plug in one place for the whole floor. It is heavy but much better construction than my old bissell. Great for someone with pet!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Constantly clogs

This vacuum clogs constantly then overheats and shuts off. Bad design of the hose doesn't allow normal household cleaning. After about 6 months of use I'm giving up and buying a new one but won't be a Kenmore.

Do Not Buy

This vacuum is horrible. If you have any type of area rug it will suck it up and make your job 10 times harder than it needs to be. Wish I could retun this but my husband already got rid of the box.

WAY OVER PRICED AND NOT WORTH IT

this thing has two lights that are supposed to tell you when the carpet is clean (green) or dirty (red). i tried it out on the cleanest carpet in our house to see what it would do and the lights flashed back and forth then stuck on red and have been red ever since. the hose is too short so when you use the attachments it tips over, and the whole thing is light weight plastic. the on/off is a slider on the handle, which you can tell will wear out over less time than the rest of the machine. it is very heavy and hard to move around and the shape is wierd -- the front doesnt allow you to get up against the wall or under anything. it also does not have the suction the sales lady said it did. i went over the same piece of string and popcorn kernel 3 times and it still didnt pick them up. i got this on sale for low 200-something, and it was too pricey, definitely not worth the 269 plus tax and shipping it is usually priced at. i am very very disappointed. not sure if i will keep it
