We have used this deep fryer four times and it will not power on. The power plug design is very bad as it goes in upside down and is supposed to be held in by a magnetic connection. Takes a long time to heat up and as I mentioned, tried to use it today and it will not power on. Do not reccomend this unit.

When I first got this unit it quit after only 1 use and would not heat any more. Being an electronics engineer I took it apart and found the design mistake and corrected it. After that I have used it for the last several years with no problem. Unless you are an Electronics engineer stay away from this one.

Works great, so far I did onion rings, french fries, & I fried 2 pork chops in there, and they fry perfect with the timer, nothing gets over fried, comes out nice and crispy...

This was bought for me as a gift. While I really love the idea and the gift part, the fryer is cheaply made and feels like junk. I am so disappointed with Kenmore and Sears products anymore, everything we buy from them is junk. The lid does not fit properly, you have to hit a button that says "cancel" to start the timer!! How stupid it that! It says CANCEL, but that is the button you hit to start it. The filter the have in there is a complete joke, it wont stop any odor's at all, the plug to the back of it is VERY short, and it is magnetic and is a pain to use. The dual basket is a joke, I don't see any reason anyone would use the smaller one, ever. So I consider it a single basket. Clean up is not so bad, but removing the oil and filtering it and storing it is a pain, but that is not the Fryer's fault, but it would be very nice if they had a filter system like some other fryer's for the oil, especially in this model's price range! Sear's and Kenmore used to make good product's.

The controls are bad, the basket doesn't have a way of locking above the oil like most other fryers, the lid doesn't fit properly and it started falling apart after a week. Do yourself a favor and avoid this clunker.

This is a good quality but the magnetic cord does not work very well. The baskets are of poor quality and breaks easily if you use a metal spoon to stir fries.

The magnetic plug does not stay connected. You turn it on and go back when it should be heated and it has shut itself off. Do yourself a favor and buy something hardwired or that will atleast stay connected to electricity. Another irritating thing is the little rubber knobs on the bottom. They pop off if you move it all on the counter at all. They are not easy to get back in either. Then you end up with nice aluminum marks all over your counter top. Quite fun to scrub off.

This fryer works great. I love that it is dishwasher safe. The top, baskets, and oil bin can all go in dishwasher. This was excellent for frying foods. The only thing I'm not to crazy about is the lid. Its not hinged, you have to lift it up and down. Otherwise this is an easy to use and easy clean up fryer. I would recommend this product.

This is my first deep fryer & I love it. I cooked some party wings n it and they turned out great! My friend have the same one. He cooked some fish in it and they were delicious. I went to Sears and purchased the same one.
