Kenmore Pro 30" Dual Fuel Range - Cooking Versatility
The Kenmore Pro dual fuel range combines a gas-powered cooktop with an electric convection oven for the versatility of a professional kitchen in the comfort of your own home. The 30" dual fuel range cooktop features a beautiful corrosion-resistant finish and stylish heavy-duty control knobs, while the oven's true convection uses a fan and hidden third heating element for evenly baked and browned foods, and succulent roasts with sealed-in juices. Heavy-duty ladder racks with handles easily adjust to 13 positions to produce precise baking results, and they're designed for quick removal and easy cleanup, making even challenging meals effortless.
- True Convection combines a powerful fan with a hidden heating element to spread heat evenly, helping bake, brown and crisp everything from turkeys and roasts to brownies and pies.
- By combining the instant heat of gas burners with the cooking accuracy of an electric oven, Dual Fuel ovens deliver added flexibility for frying, searing and baking to perfection.
- Heavy-duty ladder racks move to a combination of more than a dozen heights to make space for roasts and pans of nearly any size.
- Heavy duty cast metal knobs offer precise control while bringing the look and feel of designer quality to your kitchen.

Owned this range since 2010. Liked the performance overall. Great power from the burners and used the griddle feature often. However, the oven took a full 25 minutes to heat to 350 which was frustrating at times and the biggest problem is that the whole unit would shut down when I used the self cleaning feature. It did clean, however - it would trip the system and the whole thing needed to be pulled out in order to press the reset button. Other than that I loved the look and performance of oven and stove.

I have owned this range for two years. It looks fantastic and has all the right features. I bought it at Sears Outlet and got a great price too. The issue I have is with it's quality. When I used the self-cleaning oven, it blew a fuse, which required removing the back of the stove to reset... Next, the knobs are very cheap plastic. They deform/melt when cleaning the oven and/or using the broiler and they also break off very easily. I hope you have a better experience.

Kenmore thought of everything when designing this Pro Dual Fuel range. First of all, it is attractive and looks as good as any Wolf or Viking out there. Secondly, it has all the BTU's you could want in a cook top for the gourmets out there, including the bridge on left that allows you to put a large roasting pan across it as I did on Christmas to make the gravy. It heats up the whole pan, middle included. The bridge comes with a griddle for pancakes, grilled cheese, etc., and a grill top that fits over it to do steaks when it's too cold to grill outside. Plus, you can use the bridge side as regular burners, too, if you don't need the middle burner lit. The oven is amazing, too. It not only has a bake, broil and warm feature, it has convection bake and convection roast. I roasted a 16.6 lb. turkey on Christmas 2 1/2 hrs. using the convection roast and it was the most tender, moist turkey we've ever had! It has very precise oven temperature settings. It moves like a dial to the exact temp you desire. Last but not least, it cleans up easily, too, and unlike a lot of other high end professional style ranges, it has the self- cleaning feature. BTW: I didn't notice that the fan was that loud. It does go off after your heat rises to the selected setting. A couple of things to be aware of that we learned after purchasing: we needed to upgrade our electrical since we didn't have the proper amperage from the low end cook top we replaced but the gas line was there. Since we were replacing a cook top with a range, we needed a professional installer to remove the cook top and the cabinet below. At the end of the day, it was worth every penny to purchase and have installed. Watch for sales on this item at Sears. We did and then it went down again in price and Sears made the adjustment. Also, it is a little frustrating because Sears doesn't have it in their showroom to see ahead of time. We did see the look of it (awesome big dials) from their Kenmore Pro oven but we had to buy sight unseen; however, Consumer Review gives it high marks. That was enough for us along with all the features we were looking for: dual fuel, professional style/look, convection baking, high BTU's, self-cleaning, etc.
Out of the box missing propane conversion kit was supposed to be included. Now I have to wait another week for kit. Turned on oven to bake a pizza a noisy fan came on and never shut off.... Turned off the oven 30 minutes ago and the fan is still running. I guess I will need a service man!!!
Picked this up at less than half price to match my 48" Kenmore Pro built-in fridge/freezer. This pair looks awesome and performs very well. No issues so far.
