Not the top of the line
While I gave this an overall 4 stars, there are some areas that could definitely use improvement. Overall, I have simple needs when it comes to ovens. Bake or broil. I wanted a convection oven so I could bake faster, or bake more things in the oven without sacrificing time and quality. I only acheived the latter, and I don't get to turn down the temp on the oven either, so it's only pseudo-convection to me. Every new type of dish requires a guessing game to figure out how long to bake it and what the proper temperature should be. It broils just fine, and is a big help for holidays when I actually need both ovens going. The best part is the in-oven temperature probe, this has saved me a number of times. I am not impressed with the door seals, I have to turn pans mid-way so that the front and the back of the dish are evenly baked, obviously it's the door seal since the front side of the pan is much lighter than the back, even in convection mode. Would I buy this particular unit again? Possibly, but not probably. I'm glad I didn't pay full price. The rest of my kitchen is Kenmore PRO, so I needed to stay within the line.

Don't buy this!
Kenmore double convection pro-elite oven. Don't buy this! Sears does NOT stand behind their product. Oncy they have your $ they won't give you a new one. It is a fire hazard. The many electrical faults make it heat up unpredictably and it's internal compnents melt. We have five service calls so far and heven't even used the self-clean yet--the technicians told us that will most likely burn it out completely. It has locked up and overheated so we couldn't even get our food out and it burned by the time the oven cooled enough to release the self-locking mechanism--nothing but prpoblems. They should recall them all under the Lemon law but just keep selling them...

Dangerous

We bought these ovens les then 4 years ago and they are junk. They shut off by themselves in the middle of cooking. We have never used the self clean function and we still have problems with the control panel. Last night I had the oven on for 20 minutes and the back I've the oven where the convection fan is was glowing red. I'm afraid it will catch fire. These are a waste of money and sears doesn't care.

HATE IT .......

I have been buying Kenmore products for over 20 years. I loved the bran until now. Bought these ovens 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems. Thank God I bought the extended on it. Sears has replaced everything on it that they could and it still does not work properly. It does not bake evenly, it has a condensation problem, it takes forever to preheat. does not self cleaning, but the problem that is most significant and unexceptable is that it beeps constantly with the temp variation and eventually errors out. It would beep at least 20-30 times a minute . Run from this unit.

Do not buy this product

This has never worked right since we got it 4 years ago. It gets error message if both ovens are used then shuts off. Just learned that mother board needs replacing at $600 and this is a fire hazard waiting to happen. Technician indicates flame shooting out of board.

Great Oven

We replaced our Viking oven with this oven. For those taht were saying the Kenmore Pro was loud, I do not see this. It is quiet and it cooks very well. The oven not only looks great but works great!

One beautiful oven and it cooks good too!

I am in love with my new oven! The oven needed 8amp wire instead of the 10 our old oven used. Once the write was replaced, installation went smoothly! Stainless steel is easy to keep clean. Controls are easy to set and with both the dial and electronic display setting the correct temperature is perfect I haven't needed to use the oven cleaning cycle yet, but the oven is really easy to wipe out. I'm VERY happy with my purchase!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Pleasantly surprized

Good looking oven, reach the desired temperature a little bit slower then I expected, for example convection bake 500f 16 minutes. I do have a little bit of condensation problem but noting like dripping on the floor. It does not come with the trim as shown in the picture, so either you pay 130 + tax or have a nice gap under the lower oven. Owned for 1 year, so far excellent baking results no problems.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

600.00 in service calls so far, still doesn't work

I am a general contractor and bought this for my personal house, I do a lot of business out of my house with realtors coming over all the time to see our custom work that we do. This oven err's out all the time, it is bad when half way threw cooking something, clean cycle err's out too. Great looking but a big disappointment, I wish sears would replace it with something else, but looks like a am stuck with a piece of junk that I keep putting money into that still doesn't work.
