I bought this heater to warm a small hallway. It worked well for three days and then it quit heating up. I shut it off and turned it back on and it worked. Later in the day I noticed it oscillating again with no heat. Not worth the investment.

I bought this heater 3-4 years ago for home use and I loved it! It was cheaper then like $20 and I found it hidden in Kmart. Once I started working in a new office that was very cold, I brought it to work for the summer. Then winter came, so I took it back home and ordered the same heater for my office 2 yrs ago. It was $5-10 more now, but I didn't mind. Fast-forward a yr, the second heater stopped working exactly one day after the 1 yr warranty expired (they couldn't have timed it more perfectly...). I called Kmart/Sears and they said they'd consider repairing for free, since the warranty just ended, but I'd have to drop it off at a Sears repair center, but there are none close by. I'd have to pay to ship it there and back, which didn't seem worth it. I'd spend like $10 shipping, which is almost of what it cost so I let it go. The 1st heater I bought still works amazingly well and is a few years old now. The 2nd one barely made it to a year of use and stopped working on an occasion or two before it completely died. So the longevity is very questionable on this product. Maybe I just got a defective unit? Also, the second never got as hot as the old one. It does heat my bedroom/cubicle well. Its tip over feature makes it great for office safety. I like the oscillating and temp control shut off. The first one is the perfect heater and gets 5 stars; I wish I bought 2 back then. The 2nd one gets 1 star for dying quickly and not being as warm. You just have to take your chances with this product...
