The Kenmore 72085 oil-filled heater can save you money on your heating bill by adding warmth to the room you’re using, so you can turn down the household heat. As the oil inside the sealed heater heats up, it gently and quietly warms a room up to 150 square feet. Because the heater is sealed, you never have to refill the oil.
The rotary thermostat switch and three heat settings let you adjust the heat to the level you want. This Kenmore oil-filled heater comes with a safety tip-over protection switch and overheat protection device that automatically shuts off the heater so you don’t have to worry. The steel construction of this heater makes it durable, and with the built-in handle and all-direction casters, this radiator-style heater is easy to move from room to room.

Don't like to use forced air vents in winter to heat our basement tv room. Bought this used off craigslist and it does a great job. I only use low setting and when when go down to watch tv at nite the room is nice and toasty.
Bought this to replace one that the dogs knocked over. It is smaller than I was expecting, when comparing it to the ones that we've had for several years. But it works perfectly in the bedroom. Room is 15x15 and the larger oil heater would cook us out of the room. But this smaller one is perfect for a bedroom, while the larger one got relocated to the living room. We prefer to use a few of these placed through the house during the winter instead of turning on the house heater. Much cheaper, when the light bill comes.

I found this one in the local Sears store when all other department stores had already sent back similar stuff for seasonal reasons. Thanks to Sears I managed to heat up my room in those residual days from winter.
Our basement does not extend below our sun room, which only has a crawl space below it. So our sun room would get so cold in the winter, in spite of the space heater we bought from our electric company, that the sun room was unusable until we bought this Kenmore Radiator-Style Heater this past January (2014). Once we started using this new heater, we were able to enjoy our sun room throughout this bitterly cold winter. We followed the directions that came with the heater, and we have no problems of any kind with it.
I love radiator heaters much better than the ceramic fan blowing ones, I like the fact that even though you turn this heater off it will stay warm for a while vs. ceramic fan blowing heaters do not hold heat therefore your room does not stay warm for long. I use this heater in my bedroom and I stay toasty warm.

With electric bills so high this winter I needed an alternative to my heat pump. I've lowered my temperature to 64 and find the Kenmore heater very nicely heats my bedroom. I purchased a second heater for the living room but we haven't used that one yet. I may have to wait until next winter to use that one. I wish I had purchased them sooner.
