Fantastic Product!
I bought this iron last November. I have really enjoyed using it. It irons like a dream and gives a little noise when it's warmed up, so you don't have to guess. The opening where you put water in has a little cover, so there are no drips, which is a particular pet peeve of mine. Changing settings is easy and has a nice light up viewing window to see what setting you are on. I checked out a lot of other more expensive irons before settling on this one and couldn't be happier with it's performance. You won't be disappointed!

Nice iron but sprayer didn't work.

I had a Kenmore iron that worked for years so I figured try this one out. Purchased one and the sprayer did not work. Returned it and got another one, same problem. Gave up at that point and got a Shark.

Bad Iron

Got this iron a year ago plus, after a few uses the LCD panel started to malfunction. Never will buy this product again!! Repair cost more than the price of the iron!! Don't waste your money!!

Worst Ever!

In one day I tried and returned 3 different irons of this same model. They did NOT have any burst of steam either vertical or horizontal. Even tried the last one on the shelves with the help of the sales associate and it idin't work. For the price the quality could be much better. I ended up gonig with a non-Kenmore model and like it's perfomrance so far.

This Kenmore iron is great!

I bought this iron from Kmart because I had a lower end model that just wasn't doing what I wanted it to do. I really loved the modern design and color of this iron! The iron itself is lightweight and extremely easy to use! I was surprised at how well it glides over the clothes. I was also surprised at how fast this iron heats up! It is well worth the price. Like almost any other Kenmore product that I have ever owned, I am happy with it. It has a powerful steamer also which I love!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Iron

I have been using this iron for a month.  It handles great as it glides across my all-cooton shirts.  Great iron!

Overall
Kenmore 80588 Steam Iron

I purchased this Iron (Kenmore 80588) instead of going with the **************** #1 Rated Steam Iron, which also is a Kenmore (Model 80598). When I got to the store, I noticed that there was this orange model and based off the box information the only difference was 100 Watts for approx. $10 difference. So I went with one thinking that it would be pretty much the same performance. When I got the iron home I wanted to iron a brand new linen shower curtain. Seems par for the course to iron things with an iron that you EXPECT to do the job. Once I got everything set and ready to go I started to iron, like anyone would, and I look down and there was RUST STAINS on the shower curtain. Upon turning the iron over and looking at the bottom, I discover RUST on the bottom of the iron. A BRAND NEW IRON WITH RUST?! So the shower curtain is now ruined, I have to make ANOTHER trip to Sears to take the iron back and I WILL NOT Purchase another one from there. I then proceeded to look online for some more irons *****************) and I came across some VERY Negative reviews on this iron when I put the model number in Google. Most of which said the iron leaks, ruined items of clothing, etc. I then decided to call "Customer Relations" and lets just say they don't "Relate" to their "Customers" one bit. This is the second TERRIBLE experience with Sears and/or it's "Customer Relations" in the past 30 days. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT SEARS AGAIN IN LIFE!

The Kenmore Iron is quiet, very powerful and does not leak

I bought this iron because of the color and how sturdy it looked. It irons smoothly and does not leak like my previous iron. Only problem I see at the moment is that it is diificult to see the water level when you fill it up.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
