This washer is a nightmare. I loved it for the first six months, then it kept stopping during every cycle. You have to restart it several times. Called for repair was told too much soap. Ran the wash cycle 3 times as instructed and it kept stopping mid cycle. It takes hours to do the 35 min express cycle. I have called for repair again. Sad since washer is only 11 months old
Have had my set almost two years. Amazing how clean it gets our clothes. I have always bought Kenmore or Whirlpool and this tops them all. My only issue is when you wash a large load like bedding it gets a little off balance and is noisy.
I purchased this product about two years ago, and the entire clutch assembly has worn out. The repair bill was about half the cost of the washer. You would expect for the core part of a washer to last much longer. Find another washer that is more durable unless you like wasting money.
I was looking for a dryer which received rave reviews. But I decided to purchase the W/D pair , without reviewing the washer feedback. I was very worried. I have had this for a few weeks now; it took a bit to figure out how to use it but I have none of the problems about load imbalance or anything like that. I was trained to separate clothes by weight, color and degree of soiling. If one follows those principles, you should never have a problem with the washer imbalance, and your clothes should last longer. So far, I love both the washer and the dryer.
Same problem as Oak6er and agree with everything said also agree with craigfish, I could take a crowbar to it, too. It is a piece of ****!!! UE and uE message. Will not drain. Can't wash a small load. Can't wash too large of a load. Have to adjust all the time and it seems to be getting worse. Called and wasted hours on phone, now have tech coming but I'm sure it's a waste. Wish I had machine that came with house 20 yrs old. This machine is soooo frustrating. My husband said not worth it, just get another..
Please do not purchase this washer. Bought mine a year ago and motor already stopped working. Sears nor kenmore would do anything about it. Save yourself the headache. Do not buy this awful product! Very disappointed.
Purchased this machine in 2011 & I wish I had read the reviews before we bought it! Like so many of others, we would experience the UL error periodically We'd have to open it up, re-distribute the clothes manually, and hold your breath hope it works when you turn it back on. Final straw came three weeks ago when it stopped draining completely and NOTHING we did would fix it. We had a repairman out to fix it and he suggested replacing the pump (which we did) and NOTHING -- still won't function properly. SO, here we are three years into, what I consider, a major purchase and we're already having to replace it completely. PLEASE save yourself the time, money and frustration -- AVOID this machine!!
