The two doors on the refrigerator allows you to open the unit partially without opening the entire refrigerator to the warmer room temperature. The two freezer drawers allows you to sort your freezer goods with the top drawer for short time utilization and the bottom drawer for longer term storage. The ice maker is the only thing that has given us trouble.

I am very happy with this purchase. My vegetables are staying fresher much longer, and the full width shelves are wonderful. The icemaker is on the small size and took a while to catch up to my usage, but I like the smaller cubes.

There were some review(s) claiming this fridge is "noisy". In who's universe? LOL The compressor in the fridge is EPICALLY QUIET. I typically have to put my ear ON the fridge to hear it. Even though I dumped the first 3-4 trays of ice it made; it still had it's bin full inside of 16 hours after it was installed. The cubes are the same shape as the ones we got out of those old flexible plastic trays mom used to use (before the day of auto ice makers) and are roughly 40% smaller. We moved our old Kenmore (30 years old and still working) to the side for a couple of days and systematically cleaned and moved items from the old to the new fridge. During this period I noticed the new fridge ran LESS than 1/2 as often for 1/3 as long. While maintaining internal temps 2-3 degrees COLDER. The new Kenmore is CLEARLY superior in every way - yet I LOVED my old one until I got the new one and compared side by side. I suspect my new Kenmore Elite will be the LAST fridge I ever buy... **LOVE IT**!!!

Lots of room and I like the top freezer for easy access things that you get often. The in door ice gives the refrigerator plenty of shelf space and the features are awesome!

Just got it today, and already love it. I was afraid , after reading reviews, With many negatives, like it was noisy noisy ,etc. Can't even hear it run. We keep checking to make sure it is cooling. Love the led lights inside also The large drawer for large trays.,etc,etc,etc. love it!

First of all this product is very nice big and comfortable. I saw some reviews of it and i was dissapointed to buy or not.There is was a review that it is makes very bad noise but it is not right. No noise at all.Very usefull.Large Space.Ice cubes not producing fast but very usefull. Water filter instalation very easy. If someone ask me for advise i will recomened for 100%. Price was little high but i bought when it was sale and happy with my purchase. Also It was assamble in Korea not in China.

From the outside this looks like a solid, well constructed refrigerator. However, within a few months, 3 of the side shelves cracked and became unusable. The seal around one of the storage drawers also pulled loose and rendered the function of a "semi-sealed" environment ineffectual. The most frustrating thing is we bought this at a Sear's appliance center and you can not walk in and order replacement parts. That in itself is ludicrous and precludes our recommending Kenmore Refrigerators to anyone...

We've owned this refrigerator for a few years and we've had nothing but problems. In the last year we've called the service team three times because our food has thawed out NO COOLING. each time the service guy comes up looks over the unit and has a lame excuse like dirty coils or clogged system. They purge the system and refill now its broken again and each visit leaves us without a working refrig for at least three days before they can come out. Broken again. I'm sick of this.

All others we compared pale by comparison! The engineering is superb. To wit: metal back plate instead of cardboard; geared, smooth-to-operate freezer drawers, outstanding LED interior lighting, easy to use instrument panel for ice, water, etc. And, the ice maker! Plenty of ice in perfect size. Besides, the ice cube storage bin in the top freezer drawer is a great backup. Quiet, quiet, quiet.... you hardly know it is running! And the size of the interior without the clutter of the others' ice makers is incredible. Unfortunately, its interior volume is like "nature hating a vacuum"; my wife hates empty shelves of which there are plenty! Costly, but worth every penny. Five stars plus!!
