Product Description

Kenmore — trusted in the homes of more than 100 million Americans.

The slide-in range provides the best cooktop surface in the market with 4 induction elements that each offer a special powerboost option to quickly bring water to a boil. The Electronic Surface Element Control also allows each element to go from a gentle simmer for delicate sauces to a roaring boil. The oven features a Hidden Bake Element for increased capacity and easy clean up. Oven control, cooktop and door lockout feature keeps the range from accidently being turned on. *Installation instructions included with product take precedence.

  • Enjoy the fastest, most flexible surface cooking available - induction delivers faster, more responsive cooking with near instantaneous temperature changes. It works by producing a magnetic field which heats the pan instead of the cooktop making spills much easier to clean-up off the cool cooktop surface
  • Enjoy super fast heating times using less energy - induction cooktop features Power Boost to let you go from a low simmer to a rolling boil twice as fast as gas or electric cooktops
  • Prepare fabulous meals fast and easy - utilizing one fan and the addition of a hidden third heating element, True Convection prepares evenly baked and beautifully browned foods throughout the oven even when filled to capacity
  • Cook multiple dishes at once - large 4.2 cu. ft. self-clean oven for great cooking capacity
  • Gain more control over your cooktop - Electronic Surface Element Controls (ESEC) allow each element to go from the lowest of simmer settings to highest of power settings and since the controls are digital the exact setting can be duplicated anytime
  • Get the desired degree of doneness every time - convenient Temperature Probe takes the guesswork out of cooking. Just set the oven temperature to the required setting and insert the probe into the roast
  • Put an entire hot meal on your table all at once every time - the Warm & Ready™ drawer helps maintains serving temperature without further cooking food

Love my Kenmore Elite Induction Range
I got this as a replacement for a different (electric) Elite under the no lemon policy on my Master Protection Agreement. Sears was wonderful to work with in obtaining the new range. My induction range legs are adjustable and could be lowered to rest on the countertops so there is no problem there. I will keep the Master Protection on this stove as it most likely is expensive to fix but I have had no problems. Takes a bit of getting used to from electric but now that I know how to use it, I love it

Poor quality and scratches
I just had this installed several hours ago. The cooktop could not be lowered to be level with countertops, as explained by the installer. It is not certain that the new marble counter tops will accommodate the 1/4 inch difference. The glass cooktop immediately scratched, while carefully using the Kenmore pot provided. My 15yo radiant glass cooktop did not have this many scratches when they hauled it away. I am very concerned how this cooktop will look after years of use. The warming drawer is way too "tinny" and cheap for a $3000 + stove! What a mistake I have made!

30" Induction Range

Love this range, works well so far no problems. The only thing I didn't like is the price fluxuation on purchasing, it can range anywhere from 3600.00 to 2200.00 so don't pay the full price wait for the sale, It went down 300 after I purchased it and they did give me a refund but now it is down another 400.00,

My wife loves it.

My wife has had both gas and electric ranges and she loves this better than either. She loves that you can put a t-towel under your pot to catch any spills. She really likes the speed with which it cook too. Oven works beautifully. No complaints after 2 months.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Kenmore Elite 20" Slide-In INDUCTION Range

In my opinion the Kenmore Elite induction range is the best value for the price. The styling, quality and design of the range make it a serious consideration for anyone looking for a new stove. We have found that besides boiling water in much less time than that of our previous electric range, we discovered that our vegetables retained more of their crunchiness and flavor due to the ability to cook them at a higher heat in a shorter amount of time. The precision with which you can control the heat is very precise, when the temperature is reduced or turned off the food almost instantly stops cooking any further. This makes it great for timing multiple dishes to end cooking at the right times. For a final comment would highly recommend this range for anyone who might be considering an upgrade for a truly unique cooking experience.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Induction Range

Simply Amazing! My Wife loves it. High power, precise control. Once you've tried induction, there is no going back. Cooks like gas, with smoothtop cleanup.

Very happy with my 1 month old range.

I waited and researched a long time for this purchase. I've cooked and baked with it almost every day and really don't have anything bad to say. Just the ability to boil water quickly and the automatic reduction of heat to sauces is such a plus. Easy clean up since nothing burns on the induction top and in a house with men that think everything needs to be cooked on HI my last flat top always needed scrubbing and scraping. With the oven I notice a vast improvement in the convection from my last (first generation) convection baking. Style wise it looks great in my kitchen. Time will tell how durable it is but I did purchase the service plan (which I would have done on any brand I bought) just in case.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Not Durable

When the stove works, it's outstanding. I purchased in April 2010 and loved every day using it. Then, it stopped working in Nov 2012. Service tried to fix 7 times and finally scrapped it in January 2013. I only received $500 towards the purchase of a new Sears range and an apology from the service tech who said never buy one of these again. They are unfixable. After reading several appliance boards, it appears that this model was a candidate for recall but Sears is deciding to discontinue rather than return money to customers. Sad.

Slide-in Induction Range excellent performance

We love the new Induction Range we purchased in May 2012.  Although it meant we had to purchase new cookware (we purchased All-Clad) we love cooking on the new range.  It boils water incredibly quickly! Once we learned the "techniques" for cooking on the induction surface, we've really loved it!  It cleans up so nice and always looks great.  The oven works great as well, although we use the cooktop much more frequently.  I would definitely recommend this range for the family that likes to cook!
