The slide-in Kenmore Elite range 41079 has a dual-convection oven with a heating element, which roasts meats 44% faster than conventional ovens and browns foods better. It features a  porcelain-coated half rack and 1.6 cu. ft. Warm & Ready™ warming drawer. This Kenmore Elite slide-in range also includes the exclusive Airguard feature that keeps unwanted odors from overtaking your kitchen.

The black Kenmore Elite 4107 range has an easy-to-clean ceramic glass cooktop with a 12/9/6-in triple element, a 9-in. 3200W TurboBoil™ element, two 7-in. elements and a 6-in. element.

  • The 12 / 9 / 6 in. 3,000W power element quickly brings water to a boil
  • Americas fastest speed-to-boil element* uses 3,200W's of power to boil liquids quicker than ever. The 9 in. burner uses two independent ribbons that work simultaneously to provide Turbo Boils extraordinary power. The simmer option uses just one ribbon for a low, gentle and steady heat. Its the ultimate in both power and flexibility

  • Cook multiple dishes at once - Large 4.2 cu. ft. capacity self-cleaning oven
  • Use the cooktop however you want - Multiple cooking zones and an easy-to-clean cooktop surface make this a flexible range
  • Kenmore's exclusive AirGuard™ virtually eliminates odors from cooking or the self clean cycle, yet allows pleasant aroma to fill kitchen
  • Gain more control over your cooktop - The Electronic Surface Element Controls (ESEC) allow each element to go from the lowest of simmer settings to highest of power settings. Since the controls are digital the exact setting can be duplicated anytime
  • Food temperature probe lets you know when the meal is cooked to perfection
  • Make the most of your oven space - Hidden Bake element provides smooth, seamless oven bottom for extra capacity and easy cleanup
  • The 2,500W variable-speed dual fan convection oven circulates air at a slower fan speed, replacing cold air with warm, trapping moisture inside your roasts for more even baking and roasting

Love the triple element burner.

We've had ours for over two years and love it. One of the best attributes of this range is the triple element burner. It works great and we would like to have two of them on the cooktop.

The "Warm & Ready? drawer" is really too shallow for rising bread or keeping larger items warm, it would have been better to have a drawer for pot and pan lid storage.

The oven rack that is dropped down is very handy when there is something large to cook, however, sometimes it bends and pops out of the track, which can be a problem when you are trying to get something large to slide out of the oven. The frame probably should have been heavier.

Also, the oven rack that comes apart is a pain to deal with. Also not worth having.

So far so good

I purchased this range two years ago for my new condo and so far so good, it is still working well after one repair which is covered by warranty. Before the purchase I did some researches on it and found a lot of people complaining about the quality issue, it appears the range's quality is not stable, some worked for only one year and then went bad completely. But I still purchased this one anyway because it has a very attractive appearances and sleek design so I decide to take the risk. Just after one month use I noticed the LED display screen stopped working, but it worked again after I called Sears and have a technician replace the main board, and then I haven't got any other issue with it so far. So overall I think it is OK though a little pricey. But it does look good and make the kitchen more beautiful.

Range Looks Good in the Store but....

What is not said when purchasing, nor mentioned in the instruction manual, is the fact that there is a somewhat noisy blower that operates at all times when any of the surface burners are used or when the oven is used. The owners manual says "Some models are equipped with a blower which runs in baking and self-cleaning mode to keep all internal components at a cool temperature. The blower may keep running even if the oven has been turned off, until the components have cooled down". Not true. The blower runs at any time that any component of the stove is activated. It's only when you look at the Service Data Sheet (unfortunately after you have had it installed) and you see that it says "The cooling fan is activated during any cooking an cleaning functions. The cooling fan will also be activated whenever a surface element is in use and will remain ON until all elements are cold". The really should be disclosed to prospective buyers prior to purchase.

Good Looking Range but....

Range looks good, but what is not clearly spelled out in the literature and what is not available by looking at it in the store, where it is not energized is that there is a somewhat noisy cooling fan that runs at any time that one of the top burners or the oven is on. The fan also runs for a considerable period after the oven is turned off.

This range is fabulous!

We bought this range to go in our new kitchen and it surpassed out expectations. It is so pretty, I almost hate to cook on it. You do need a glass cleaner to get it looking gorgeous, but it's worth it! I love it!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
