Turbo Boil feature brings liquids to a faster boil, allowing you to make a cup of tea in less time.

  • The 4,400 Watt bridge element has individual 7-inch elements for smaller skillets and pans that work together for griddles, stew pots and Dutch ovens, so you can cook any size meal.
  • One of the fastest heating elements around, Electric Turbo Boil™ delivers 3,200 watts of heat in seconds, bringing pots and kettles to a boil without wasting your valuable time.
  • A built-in Downdraft Ventilation System pulls away smoke, steam and odors fast without any overhead connections, for powerful ventilation that fits kitchen islands and peninsulas.
  • From frying bacon to sautéing cloves of garlic, a 3-speed fan delivers customizable ventilation with up to 525 CFM of airflow, clearing the air fast or slow at your discretion.

Very nice, well built and functional.
We have had this for about 3 weeks now and are very pleased with our decision to purchase. We went to Sears to buy a Jenn-Air and opted for the Kenmore Elite instead. The downdraft works great and isn't to loud at all (on the inside). The bridge works great for griddles. The quality of the knobs is far better than our previous Jenn-Air. Over all a great product!

Cooktop

I had this cooktop for a month used it a few times both front burners had a scratch on them from boiling eggs on the left side and cooking pasta noodles on the right side after I was done I noticed they were both scratched.  My pots are not that old and I shouldn't have to worry about any pots doing this for the cost of this cooktop.  It looks really pretty I shouldn't have to be scared to cook and this happen to me.  I have had the black flat cooktop about 13 years ago and never had this problem no matter what type of pots I cooked with.

Really nice

Like others, I also bought this to replace a really old JennAir coil burner cooktop. It is easy to clean with kitchen spray cleaner. I can see that the glass can slightly discolor in small spots, for what reason I don't know, but it's not that big of a deal. The downdraft is powerful and pretty quiet. I was pleasantly surprised by the metal knobs, they are heavy and come of fairly easily (except one). Sears installation was well worth it, he was fast and professional.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The WORST product ever!

If I could give this cooktop a negative number I would. It is impossible to clean and always looks dirty and streaky. Burnt on food just does not come off it. EVERYTHING makes a spot (including water) that takes a long time and lots of effort to clean. The Sears installation was complete ****. The temperature on certain burners varies wildly for no reason. The knobs have broken off with the slightest pressure. And I've had this POS for a little over a year. If you're looking for a cooktop, pass this one by. How anyone can review it positively is completely beyond me.

Beautiful but don't dare use it

We purchased this cooktop about a month ago. I love the way it looks in the kitchen and the downdraft is excellent, but it scratches way too easily. Way, way, way too easily. The surface is absolute garbage. Just purchased an electric skillet to use for everyday cooking. Imagine spending this kind of money for a cooktop that really can't be used, even after conditioning. I wish I had kept the 30 year old Jenn Aire that came with the house. That cooktop was indestructible.

Excellent Product

So far this is one of the best electric glass cooktops we have ever owned. The burners heat up extremely fast. The power burner and dual burner option are great for heating large pots. Was not sure if we would like the knobs on the side instead of the front, however once installed it makes for a nice clean appearance and we found they are not in the way when adding or removing pots.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Downdraft cooktop

The temperature is difficult to control. The heat turns itself on and off and is not constant. The knobs are a bit complicated. Each one has to be turned a different way to achieve the same temperature. A person with poor vision would never figure it out.
