Lots of storage, adjustable shelves, the indoor bins are large for milk & Juice. The ice maker is in the door so it frees up the upper shelf for food storage.
We love our new Kenmore Refrigerator. We were worried because we had to replace a counter depth unit. The capacity of this refrigerator is sooooo much larger than our previous GE model side by side. There are so many places on the doors for varied sized food products. Great purchase.

This counter depth model is the largest kenmore makes and you can really tell. Most counter depth refrigs are alot smaller but the inside of this one is layed out perfect, tons of space and refrig does stick out in the kitchen.

Happy with the refrigerator with the exception that the water / ice dispenser dips water. Sears is exchanging the refrigerator giving us a new one. Hopefully, this will fix the problem.

This is the second time I have purchased this. I had one before I moved, and bought the same one for my new house. Love the look, the room and the style. The slim ice maker in the door saves a lot of room. Love it.

We liked the looks and layout of the Kenmore Elite, Counter-Depth, French Door, Bottom-Freezer Model 72043, and were eventually able to step up and buy one of these beauties for the hefty price of $2,999. Kenmore Elites usually get good reviews in the consumer mags, so we were confident that we had purchased a quality product. After using the unit for several weeks however, we soon discovered that beauty was only skin deep, and that our unit exhibited serious problems. The problems were as follows: freezer compartment was not completely frost free, and food packages and bags iced up after two to three days. Every time the bottom freezer drawer was closed, the unit wheezed like an old accordion. The unit also ran exceptionally noisy, and could be heard humming and making other odd noises at considerable distances. Another issue was the top double doors. No matter how hard the Sears technician tried to level them off, he was unsuccessful. Based on the technician's assessment that our unit was unfixable, we called Sears Customer Service who immediately sent out another unit. The second unit exhibited more of the same symptoms as the first, only worse. The technician's diagnosis this time was that the entire refrigerator box was twisted and not plumb. Sears sent out a third 72043 refrigerator which basically had the same problems as the first two. The technician this time said there was no fix for the bottom freezer not maintaining a frost free environment, and said he could do nothing further. To its credit, Sears customer service stood behind its products and reputation. As much as we liked the cubic footage, layout, ice maker, and stylish appearance of the Kenmore Elite 72043, we decided three was enough and exchanged the last one for a GE Cafe French Door model. A world of difference, with not a single complaint. We are now very satisfied, and will continue to be Sears customers in the future.
