Kenmore  Cooktop Cleaning Cream for Smooth-Top Ranges

I purchased this product for our ceramic top stove and it works great! I use this cream the same way I use a car polish to do my car. I apply it, let it harden, then wipe it off with one cloth then use a polishing cloth to give it the final shine. I will continue to use this product.

I started using this product on my all white smooth top range in 2001. It's now 2013 and my stove top still looks like new! I love to cook and have spilled many things onto the hot surface over the years but this product gently and thoroughly has cleaned it over and over again. I would recommend it to anyone with a glass top cooking surface. My daughter is constantly taking mine to her house to clean her stove too! I have to hide my bottle of cleaner. I'll never use anything else.

We recently purchased a new Smooth Top Range at our local Sears store. The salesman recommended the kit that contained Cook Top Cleaning Cream, red pads and a metal knife that looks much like a putty knife for cleaning those burned on spots. So far we have only needed the Creme Cleaner and it does a magnificent job on the smooth top. Makes it sparkle and shine. It is easy to apply and rub off. Reminds me of waxing your car...if people still do that. I would recommend this Creme Cleaner to anyone that has a smooth top range

Great product!

This product cleans most daily stovetop dirt well, however hardened grease spots will not come off with this product. A friend recommended using a razor blade for the hardened grease spots and if you use it carefully it is the only way I know to get you glass stove top completely clean.

Cleaner works well. I would say this is more of a polish than a cleaner, though. You have to scrape off the debris from the cooktop and then use this to polish it.

It works

It works great! It works well if you wait until the cooktop has cooled completely. Try to use it before the cooktop is used for the next meal so the food does not get cooked onto the surface. A little elbow grease will get it back to the sparkling surface you love.
