I haven't had the negative experiences previously listed. If you have dexterity greater than an elephant, don't carry it around, or use it as a sawhorse, you'll be fine. It keeps our house between 45-53 percent humidity when its 20-25% outside on the low setting. You'll have to use high setting to raise the %, then run it on low to keep it there. Low setting is quiet. As you would expect, high setting is louder. No trouble with spillage. Just keep it on a hard surface or use a board to set it on. Filling the tanks with water could be easier, but its not a big deal. No trouble with quality yet but its my first season with it.
I really like this new humidifier. The size of it is perfect not like the old ones that were large and took up a lot of space. I also like the water containers, they are so easy to fill. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new humidifier

This has definitely has increased the humidity in my room. My throat and nose are not dried up in the morning when I wake up. On the quiet low-speed setting, it is barely noticeable (Fast setting is very loud though).... Only complaint is that the caps on the water tanks could have been designed to screw on better/easier. I am pretty sure this is the cause of the water spills in all of the other reviews here. If the caps are not properly screwed on, the water leak onto your floor which happened to me once when I first got this. Now after ensuring the cap is on correctly after I fill them, my floors have remained completely dry. My unit is a on a carpeted floor and it has not tipped or leaned over as mentioned in someone's review. It would have been nice to have display of the room's actual humidity as well. I would definitely get another one of these if I needed one.
Do not put on carpeted floor!!!! Immediately after placing two tanks of water into the brand new unit...at least half of the 2+ gallons of water spilled out onto the carpet. The design is poor....the weight of the water tanks tilts the unit back and the supporting legs burrow into the carpet tilting the unit backwards ...which causes the water to spill out.
As other reviews, the water comes out and goes all over floor. It worked once since I bought it. Noise is not loud...once you put it on low. The water wont stay in the SMALL reservoir. 10 pm and I am still trying. Taking back in the morning.
Avoid this poorly constructed humidifier. The water tanks dont always sit right and you have a watery mess on your hands. Its unstable on carperted surfaces too. I would give this less than one star if I could.
I have studied large capacity humidifiers for weeks and finally bought this one, almost on impulse. I love it! It's quiet (on the low setting) and easy to fill. I leave it on all the time so the humidity level feature is great. I could tell a difference in the humidity of our home within 24 hours. Until now I have only used a small humidifier in the bedroom at night, but needed more. This one was a great choice.
Just bought this humidifier 2 weeks ago. So far we love it as it seats in our living room. You can see how much water is putting in the air by looking at the semi-clear tanks. This thing puts tons of water in the air!. Filter is tight to take out/in but we plan to do it only once a month. Smaller than other units, we noticed the air humidity change right away.
