Kenmore Bagless Compact Canister Vacuum - Lightweight
Versatile and compact, this Kenmore bagless canister vacuum is light and easy to use. Cleaning floors, carpets, and rugs is simple with its bagless canister and retractable cord, and the transparent dust bin shows you exactly when it's time to empty the canister. Its compact size makes it easy to lift and store, while its 360-degree swivel hose and cyclonic design give you all the cleaning power you'd expect from a Kenmore vacuum.
- The Edge Grabber keeps powerful suction at the edge of the nozzle so it can pull dirt from floors and carpeting all the way to the baseboards, for a full clean on the first pass.
- The unique multi-angled floor nozzle offers a wide array of cleaning positions, so you can get the same deep clean in tight spaces and corners that you do in wide open areas.
- The 360-degree swivel hose eliminates twisting and tangling, so you have the flexibility you need for a deep clean in any direction.
- The Reach-Out telescoping wand helps you get to places you normally couldn’t reach, cleaning window treatments, ceiling fans and other above-floor surfaces without a step ladder.
- Ideal for allergy sufferers, the HEPA certified filter captures maximum debris, trapping dust, dander, pollen and other allergens so exhaust air is clean and you can breathe easy.
- The built-in Bagless Canister gathers dirt in an easy-to-empty chamber that saves you the cost of replacement bags.
- Built to eliminate the trouble and tangle of rolling up the cord by hand, the retractable cord mechanism engages with the push of a button, wrapping up the job in seconds.

Small head, takes a long time to vacuum. Suction average. Attachment is so tiny it's a joke for lamp shades. Wand keeps falling off the handle. Will not pick up on small area rugs. On/off not clearly marked. It's easy to hit the cord recoil button by mistake.

I bought this vacuum, based on most other reviews. It works great, with no bags to replace. I live alone, with no pets, so I didn't need a really heavy duty vacuum. For the price, this has the attachments that I need, without being heavy or bulky to store. Would highly recommend this one.
I love a good vacuum, and have had many , from the Rainbow down to the Hoover Lynx cordless and many bagged vacuums in between. Once you go bagless though, you'll never go back. This is my new favorite, and I've been using it for the last six months. I actually prefer the brush it comes with without a roller bar. Instead of wrapping hairs around a bar to the point of diminishing the suction, everything goes right into the dirt holding part. Which dumps out fairly easily once you get used to it. It's kind of square shaped, so it fits awkwardly over your trash bin, I have to set the trash bin in the sink and then empty into it. But all the dirt holding area is washable, which I love, keeping your unit completely clean, which makes sense for a cleaning machine. And the swivel is very handy and does get right up and onto the baseboards. This really makes vacuuming fast, easy and definitely efficient. It is truthfully not the best on carpets though. Good enough for now and then, and ok on my area rugs, but I've held on to my Shark Navigator for my one carpeted room, even though it is so heavy, bulky and hard to maneuver I had to get a replacement for it as I couldn't stand using it anymore.
If I was only picking up dust and hair I guess this vacuum would be ok, but I got it for the room I keep my litter boxes in and it does not do a great job, Plus the pipes do not lock together and are forever pulling apart and then one piece will fall on you foot, and lookout if your barefooted. Also the dirt cannsiter was horrible to empty I have to do it outside it makes such a mess. Needless to say I am looking for an other vacuum this one was a costly mistake
I Love This Thing! I have 4 cats, 2 dogs and I work 75 hours a week. I?m just telling you that so you can try to imagine the fur I have to deal with not being able to vacuum as much as I should. First of all, it?s bag-less, which is what I wanted since the fur always fills bags quickly. It is very easy to empty and I am impressed with how easy the hose snaps in and out but is locked in. When you take the canister out to empty it, the lever is very easy to slide and it comes right out. Then there is a button that you push while you?re holding it over the garbage, and it opens right up. The only tiny thing that was an inconvenience was that when I was dumping the contents the first time, the big plastic thing that directs the air flow fell out. It is supposed to be removable in case you need to clean it better, but it took me a minute to figure out how it went back in. So look at how that?s in there before you dump out the contents. After dumping, the canister snaps easily back into the vac and the hose snaps right back in. ( It?s easier to disconnect the hose when you?re dumping out debris.) The other totally awesome thing is the head. It is not a power head, which you really don?t use with hardwood floors, but it is awesome. It is the first one I?ve seen that is designed to form a suction towards the wall, so when you?re doing edges it gets ALL the fur and dirt. It swivels nicely in all different directions. The handle is very comfortable as well, and is angled in a way to give you a lot of control. Once in a while I have had the pole come out of the handle, and I just shoved it back in, but that is nothing, when I weigh out all the positives of this vac. This is not made for carpeting or rugs, so you?ll need something with a power head to do those. (It does pick up loose stuff from rugs, but not much of the fur). The suction is great, also. The fur does static onto the plastic hose, but I just vac it off when I?m done. I have only had it for about a month, so I can?t comment on its? longevity, but whenever this thing dies, I?m buying another one. I love it!

I've been using this machine for over 2 years now and am totally satisfied with both its cleaning ability and the fact that you can dump all the debris and wash the container out. I always heard that bagless was no good - that the machines weren't sealed, that they let a lot of dust and debris escape, etc. Not so with this one. It's lightweight, highly maneuverable and stores easily. The best part is that at the time I purchased it I took out a 3 year warranty for something like $15 and the salesperson told me that if it ever breaks I should just call the store, give them the necessary info, and they'll replace it for me at no cost. Can't beat that.
This is probably the best bagless vacuum as far as cleaning it out is concerned. Extremely quick and easy to clean out and to clean the dust filter. The wand has a tendancy to fall out of the handle - strange there is no lock. However pushing it firmly in seemd to work. Though the wand telescopes, the hose and wand are just a bit short. Another 6 inches of wand and maybe another foot of hose would have been perfect. The biggest problem is LOW POWER. The small hose (which doesn't allow use of accessories from other vacuums) probably helps a bit with the suction at the tip - giving the illusion of better air flow. But the power is just a bit too low. It is good on hard floors if the dust filter is clean and you are getting the full availabel power, but would be worthless on carpet.
I bought this vacuum to replace my old Kenmore Blue Canister. One of the prongs of the electrical cord broke off:( Sad day indeed. That vacuum was so great. It worked amazingly for so long. I have pets, and even without a beater brush, it was awesome. THIS vacuum however, was so poorly designed that I have a hard time believing they were made by the same company! The old Kenmore Blue had variable sliding power control right where my thumb was on the wand, which was awesome when I didn't need full power, like with a small throw rug. I was slightly disappointed that this was not a feature on the new bagless model. Speaking of the bagless "feature", everytime I want to open, I feel like it's going to break because the canister doesn't come out without alot of force, it always seems stuck. And the whole built in cleaning features are a joke, and make a dusty mess everywhere. The next flaw I noticed was that the metal part of the wand comes out ALL THE TIME!! There is no metal button/hole connection like what I have seen on every other vacuum I have ever used. And the most recent annoyance is that the telescoping wand is ALWAYS collapsing on me!! I'm getting irritated just writing about it. You should see how mad I get while I'm actually "vacuuming" with it!! I was actually very surprised that there were so many great reviews on here for this piece of utter garbage. I would love to find someone who can just replace the cord on my old one, but I'm afraid that the bags may not be available for long. Or maybe I'll splurge on a Dyson. Due to the trend of declining quality in Kenmore's products, I don't think I'll ever set out to buy anything made by them in the future. In all, I regret this purchase, and should have listened to my husband when he told me to return it on day one.
This vacuum is great for quick, and easy clean-ups. It has the same strength and suction as the big vacs. It is light, bagless, and does a good job. I have used these vacs in my residential cleaning business for over 17 years. The are easy to operate, and the new bagless vacs save you money. The head does not have an agitator on it, so doing rugs is a little difficult, but totally capable. It really works well on tile and wood floors. This is a great value for the money. Other vacs like it cost hundreds more, and they don't work as well.(You are paying for the brand name). This is also great for cleaning that car, truck, and don't forget the RV. I keep this little guy in my motorhome, it's small enough that it does not take up a lot of space. But does the job of a big vac. A great vacuum at a great price.

I love this vacuum. High points: pivoting head makes is easy to guide vacuum around corners and furniture; the head profile is low, so it's a easy to clean under the furniture without moving anything; love that you can vacuum right up to the floor boards and love that the rubber around the head protects baseboards and furniture from being dinged; love the retractable utility cord and that the cord does not twist up and tangle. The vacuum is easy to work and it reallys sucks up dirt and pet hair. It is easy to clean out. Its design is well-thought out which I appreciate. I bought a vacuum cleaner earlier in the year that was recommended by Consumer Reports. That vacuum cleaner was awful and it literally fell apart in a matter of months. I am so happy with this little powerhouse of a Kenmore, that I won't even think of using another brand.
