I have tried to make whole wheat bread for a few months now and I have not made one good loaf. The loafs come out small and dense. I have tried every thing to improve the loaf like using less water and making sure I had new yeast. I have tried less yeast since I live at a high altitude. I had an older version of the Kenmore Bread Maker and loved it. I alway got good bread from my old machine that I had for over 10 years. I am very disappointed with this version of the Kenmore Bread Maker. I cannot recommend the Kenmore Bread Maker with the LCD Display.

We were very pleased with the ease of use of this product and the quality of the bread that we get out of it. We have used it for just over a week straight now, baked four different types of bread loaves of various sizes and did not have one bad batch of bread yet. Excellent product for us not too smart bakers.

Shipped quickly, arrived very late in the day, 6pm. UPS delivers until 7pm but I really wanted to use it. So I stayed up late to read the manual and make my first loaf of bread. Good product. Measuring cup arrived broken everything else was fine.

Made my first loaf of bread as soon as I got home with it. The bread was moist and did not fall. I recommend this to everyone.. Very easy to use.

Was pretty happy with this bread maker for about two weeks. After that it started to do some strange loud sounds and finally stopped working at all. And I just bought it last month. Very disapointted!

Kenmore should be a name you can trust... and this bread machine is not the worst one we have bought. We have owned just about every brand that you can think of. This one was one year and 2 months old before it quit. Of course, most people don't make bread every other day in their machine. Pros. The internal pan is more sturdy than some other machines. When it worked, it seemed very sturdy. Cons: The paint wears off the buttons rather quickly, so you have to remember how to run the machine. The dimensions of the machine are rather big. Doesn't fit into the appliance garage on the kitchen counter. Noisy Perhaps the biggest CON is that Sears tries to "con" you out of money by selling you what it calls a product replacement plan... It is not a replacement plan. We paid $66 for this product originally. They will give me a $66 gift card for this and only for three years. The MF warranty is for 2 years full replacement.

Easy to use, consistent, reliable. Has a Pause button which allows for adding ingredients during knead cycle, making rolled breads (cinnamon raisin twirl for example) and extra rise time if needed.

I've had this machine for 2 years now, I use it every weekend to make different types of bread. Actually I only use it to mix the ingredients and get the dough well done. Once that's done, which takes about an hour, I pull it out and shape my breads. This way, I get individual breads that I can use for the entire week. The machine has never failed me, it is easy to clean and easy to use. I would totally recommend it.

This machine looks and feels so substantial and beautiful that it resembles expensive European or Japanese machines that cost 3 or 4 times as much. Sure, it doesn't have the variety of functions Zojirushi or Panasonic machines would offer, but it is easy to use and the bread still comes out evenly baked--consistently. I am impressed, and, if you are on a budget but still want the Zojirushi-like performance, this machine is it! The only issue I have with the machine is the counterintuitive and inefficient menu design. You need to choose a number corresponding to the task you want to perform (e.g., kneading) by looking it up in the manual. This feels so 19th Century... How hard would it be to design a machine which allows its users to choose the program directly, without this added step?
