Nice height to get into and reach down into. Sleek look and fits better in the space I have for it than the old upright. Like the nice clean white color and noticeable on light that is easy to see at a glance, to be sure it is still on. Got a good price on a floor model.

Purchased this and picked up yesterday. We were very excited about this purchased and hooked it up. The next day we had a very, very hard time opening the lid after we had put stuff in it. This one is going back. We do not want to get suck with a product we will have a hard time using. Very disappointing!
My freezer came just in time. I had family coming from out of town and I needed to buy more food. This freezer is just the right size and it is a very nice chest. Plus it stay very cold.
Tried to give this zero stars! I've only had this freezer 3 years and it's has died TWICE now! The compressor went out within the first year, luckily that was replaced under warranty. However I lost $100s of dollars of food that they would not reimburse me for even though I had an extended warranty because food you make yourself or did not purchase from a store is not covered. Then the power indicator light went out, that was replaced only to die again!! Now the freezer has stopped working yet again. Luckily we installed an alarm thermostat after the first time it died so we were able to save the food. Very very very disappointed with the quality and longevity of this product. Will not buy another Kenmore!

Had this delived yesterday, Just the right size etc. Went to put stuff in the freezer, and couldn't get the lid up. I lifted the freezer off the ground insted of lid opening. I called the Sears help desk, and they said to put valoline on the door, it will be easier to open. Well I kept trying then got lucky it opened. Put the vasoline on the door, and food in the freezer. Guess what couldn't get the dang door open again. I read all the reviews, and tried everything everyone else had tried. Didn't open. I talked to a Sears rep via on line. I told them the problem, and that I want to have this freezer returned it isn't any good to me if I can't get into it. Some comments have praised this freezer, how the heck do you get the door to open? I shouldn't have to turn it off to open it, or unplug it like some have said, also tried to take the plug out that didn't work. I thought I was ordering a quality freezer, but not the case. Anyone found a small freezer that opens and works? thinking about a small up right, but will I have the same issue with that one?
Good value for the money. Large enough for our family of six. Size is small enough that things don't get lost but big enough to hold plenty of frozen goods. Our unit is located in basement - seems quiet enough to locate in living space. No complaints to date. Very little frost up yet- having been owned and used for almost five months. Seems to be a very good purchase.
