I bought this oven based on the reviews I read. I used it for a week and took it back. The design of the control knobs is so poor you can not tell if you have it set to the right temperature therefore things I was baking took much longer than expected and since it is a convection oven it was supposed to cook faster. Also the toaster took way too long. The final straw was when I tried to cook a pizza. It has a cutout in the back of the oven so it will fit a 12" pizza which was great, or so I thought. The rack does not extend into that cutout so about 5 minutes into baking the pizza the crust flopped and the toppings and cheese dripped all over the inside of the oven. I ended up getting a great simple toaster oven. I would never get another convection/toaster oven again. It seems that the more options you get, the worse the performance you get too.
In June, 2013 after our old toaster oven died after many years of use, we found this Kenmore toaster oven which was a good size, stainless front which would go with the rest of our appliances and nice looking. All was well until August, when it began to smoke and cook irregularly. We were sent a replacement. We used this oven for 3 months until the time **** broke. They again agreed to send a replacement, which they did after a month and several follow up phone calls. If this one doesn't last, we'll give up and look to put more money into an oven of higher quality. (definitely not a Kenmore). I will say that the customer service people that I spoke to were very professional and helpful. My advice to you is stay away from this oven, and if you can, get a higher quality oven.
I believe a review should be written for any product after a year of use. I will start off with the main positive for this product. I like the size of this toaster oven. now the bad..the thermostat doesnt work any more and will only shut off after reaching 400 degrees. which at that point will burn anything in its tray. i would rather spend 20=30 dollars more for a better built product that lasts longer

I received this as an early Christmas Present and all I can say is WOW. Only takes a few min to get heated up and it cooks great. I have made 3 pizza's that turned out perfect, along with pizza rolls, toast and chicken nuggets. I plan to use this for baking on Christmas day, as it will speed up my morning. I highly recommend this to anyone.
We are going to Florida and needed a free standing oven to use so we do not have to go out to eat every night. We will be staying in a efficiency apartment which has a small refrigerator and a microwave but no stove or oven. This Kenmore product is small enough and powerful enough to accomplish what we need

It is big enough to easily hold six slices of bread for toasting. It toast fast. The only quirky thing about the toaster is you have to move the timer switch past 20 mins then turn it back to the correct amount of time desired for the item you wish to heat.

I bought this item today and unfortunately did not check to make sure it stayed on longer than 60 minutes. I need a toaster oven that can stay on warm all night long, and this one does not (that I can tell, anyway). So back to Sears to find another one. I was looking forward to a happy purchase... Since I never used it - I don't feel like I can give a good review on it, so I will give it 3 stars since I have to give it some rating to post this. Just didn't want anyone else to make the same mistake.
