The grill heats up and hold it temperature well, i haven't used the smoker yet but i will soon. If you decide to get this beware of flare ups and always clean the grease trap regularly. I almost burnt my house down using it (it was under the eaves ) i used to have a KitchenAid Natural Gas grill that didn't require emptying the grease as often so i guess i was expecting the same performance. Now i have it away from the house It cooks evenly meat evenly and we have enjoyed using it for the past 8 months.
We paid a lot for this so we could conserve space by having the smoker attached. We love the look, but even soaked wood chips catch fire after about 5 minutes with the vent shut. Quite frankly, it seems like an incomplete untested design. No water container, even though it is mentioned in the manual. The smoker stays around 280 degrees, which is over by about 50 degrees(more once the chips catch fire). The grill works great, but didn't we spend about $500 extra for the smoker? For the price, should we have to "find" a way to make it work by buying extra parts? I know why it was available for only 1 year. Kudos to whoever designed the outside and a pox on those who designed the smoker. We really wish it would work as something other than a grill and fireplace.
I love the smoker and the 6 burner grill has lots of spaces and takes under 30 mins to assemble it is straightforward as the grill comes 90% pre-assembled only have to attach the plates for the smoker, and attach the foldable rest area of the top. Amazing price and serious equipment for all grill lovers cant go wrong with this
Grill works great, however I had the same problem as SmokinNJ with the smoker temp. I ended up buying a stainless steel pan, about 4 inches deep, and put it on the shelf above the wood chip box. Using it as a water pan, I was able to keep the temp around 200 by just adding water every few hours.
I bought this grill about a month ago on-line and picked it up at my local sears. The grill was easy to setup and has plenty of surface space for large backyard BBQ's. As a Smoker it has been a bit of a failure. Although the construction of the box is solid which prevents excess smoke form escaping the chamber I have been unable to maintain a smoker temp under 300, this makes it useless as a smoker since most of the meats cook best between 200 - 250. For grilling this unit works great. Even temperature and minimal flare ups. Plenty of room for grilling small or large items. Steaks, Chicken, Sausage all come out delicious on this grill. I am going to reach out to Sears to see if they offer a different regulator or other option that would allow the Smoker to run at the proper temps.
This grill is a tank! It's massive and wonderful. Tons of storage and cooking area, including the 6 burners, the side burner, and the smoker. Assembly was easier than getting dressed in the morning and the quality of the grill seems very high. I was between this grill and a Weber Genesis e-330 and the options don't compare....and I saved about $150. You'll love it!
This is a great grill. Besides looking impressive, the grill is huge and works great. Assembly was a breeze - approx. 30 minutes to assembly. Most of the grill was assembled already. The smoker is a decent size and works great. THis grill is well worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a large upscale grill.
I'm giving it 3 stars because even though I had a bad experience doesn't mean everyone will. I'll start off by saying the grill looks really nice. The smoker is small though. The wood chip box was small, and there is no container for water. The grill was delivered yesterday. We got it out of the box to find dents, scratches, and burn marks. After calling sears, they said they could send us a replacement. We decided we wanted to try the grill before we had a replacement sent to make sure we liked it. After getting it assembled, we turned it on to let it warm up. The flames started flickering. Getting really high then going back down to normal. (Sorry about my ignorance, I do not know much about this, but guys will probably understand what I'm talking about.) We looked in the back, and the whole hose was froze, and it was leaking propane bad. We immediately shut it off. The temperature gauge was also stuck.

Just purchased this grill online and was delivered in 3 days. Assembly was very simple, took a total of 1-1/2 hours. The grill looks great! Its huge! I was hesitant to purchase this without seeing the size of the smoker first hand, but went to Sears and looked at some similar grills, so we could estimate how large the smoker might me. We are pleasantly surprised at how big the smoker unit is. It will fit plenty of ribs, a pork roast, etc. The unit heats up fast and with the 6 burners you have tons of room for your meats and veggies. The top rack is plenty big too for potatoes, etc. We grilled ribeyes and chicken wings the first night and had no flare ups. They both cooked up perfect! 2nd night we grilled chicken breasts and again, no flare-ups, came out tender and juicy! We love all the extra options this grill offers, plus it looks great!! Great service from Sears too! UPDATE: smoked a 9lb pork BBQ in the smoker and it was awesome! Temperature stayed steady all day!

I ordered it on-line on Tuesday and selected Friday for delivery. It was delivered the first thing on Friday morning and I had no problem with the little assembly that was required. That afternoon I smoked a whole chicken it the smoker part of the grill and it was wonderful. I did have a problem with the temperature gauge located on the main grill. It would reach a certain point and the tip of the needle would drag on the scale and would hang up. Friday, I called the number listed for missing parts and explained the problem with the gauge and they said that they would send out a new gauge. In Mondays mail I received the new gauge. Very nice people to deal with if you have a problem. Since then, I have baked biscuits in the main grill using 4 of the burners on their lowest settings and the biscuits turned out great Also have used the outside burner with my wok. I don't have natural gas available where I live so this will be my main way of cooking in the future. GREAT GRILL.
