Worth the wait!
The Kenmore 50 - pt. Dehumidifier was well worth the wait. I had to send back the first Kenmore I bought due to a recall (a problem with the cord). The most recent one I bought was easy to start using and fairly a light model. It has been working well thus far.

Quiet but not powerful?
I have had this unit for a couple weeks. It is quiet and I like the settings options, but it doesn't seem able to lower humidity below a certain point (40%) or so. I am new to it , so maybe I am not adjusting settings correctly?

Works as expected

Just purcharsed this for my finished basement. My doors were starting to stick even though i installed them properly. After just one day of operation this unit took out so much water from the air i was really amazed. Now after about one week it barely turns on at 50% humidity setting, this thing works awesome! I just hope it doesnt burn out on me like i have heard some units do after a few years of operation but oh well nothing lasts for ever...

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Small yet mighty

This dehumidifier is a replacement for a 10 year old Kenmore. It is a bit smaller but works just as great. Very quiet. Two thumbs up.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Quiet and efficient

I have been using this for about three weeks, during an unusually damp Spring. It took a few days to get a sense of just where the humidity setting should be, but now I just leave it alone and it operates just fine. It is also very quiet. I used the adaptor and hooked it up to a garden hose that empties into a floor drain, so I don't have to keep emptying the container. I did need a small piece of tubing (about 3/8 inch), which was not included.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Dehumidifier

Need a dehumidifier to reduce humidity in the cellar. This dehumidifier replaced a Kenmore that I had purchased 10 years ago. The design seems improved with digital read-out, etc. so I hope this one lasts even longer. So far there has been little humidity, but we will see in the summer how well it works.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Nice machine

Runs very quiet. Only complaint is the difficulty in putting the water tub back in. It binds and is just not easy to get in.
