Freezer does a awsome job keeping all my foods frozen and that's with the temp on med. It's small but it holds a lot of food and with food going up in price it just makes sense.
This is a very nice freezer, a good size and all you need for a family of four or more, I have had it for a week and everything has been good so far, keeps everything just as suppose to, and for the price real good got it on sale, and like that it is a Kenmore, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good product at the right price, doesnt take up much room neither.
this product is great it is just perfect for a small freezer in a small house it is very durable and keeps everything I need it to keep and fits right where I needed it to fit

We have owned this freezer for about 2 years. It just stopped working. It does not cool at all. The information I have found online shows this is common for this model and the repairs cost more than the freezer did. It worked fine while we had it but I guess you get what you pay for. The warranty was for 1 year so no help there either.
Well I needed a Deep freezer cause I have an large family and just the freezer that comes with a regular refrigarator wasn't working. Because I had to go food shopping every week, but since I have my deep freezer don't have to go that often. And I got it On sale to.

Sadly, like many others, my freezer failed after a short time. Less than 2 years. Like many other appliance companies, Sears has decided to have junk built in China. Cheap, disposable garbage. Out of the box there were signs of shoddy workmanship and poor quality. Should have returned it then. I'm done with Sears/Kenmore. Too bad, because I remember when this was a quality brand.
There are many things to love about this freezer. It has wheels, it has a power on light, it has a hanging basket and an internal divider. I can understand the favorable reviews from those who have just purchased it. The problem is longevity. Like many others, mine gave out in the three year range. I would expect at least five and even longer. I don't understand why these freezers can't last just as long as a standard refrigerator? I have just recently replaced our Kenmore chest freezer and guess what? I didn't buy a Kenmore. The price is too expensive for the length of time is lasts. Worse, the Kenmore warranty is one year parts and labor. The competition offers 1 year parts and labor and 5 years on the compressor, which is the part that most commonly fails on these units. And, the competition is much less expensive. I normally am a fan of Sears and Kenmore, but I would suggest passing on this one.
