Burners, flame tubes, burner supports (welded to lower grill), drip pan are all rusted out after 1 year of use. Only the burners and flame tubes are covered under warranty after 1 year. The lower part of the grill should be replaced due to the burner supports being rusted out, but that would require complete disassembly and 80.00 for parts.
This is my second Kenmore gas grill. The first one lasted ten years and was a great grill. DO NOT BUY THIS GRILL!!! It would have burned down my house if I wasn't setting on my porch waiting for my food to finish cooking. The grill is two years old and kept on our screened-in back porch. Tonight I was cooking and almost finished when I heard the grill making a pinging sound, it was the welds on the bottom of the pan just below the burners. The whole bottom caved in down toward the gas tank. You could smell the paint burning. Like I said, the grill is located on the inside of the porch so it did not rust or get damaged. It is just made a lot cheaper than my old grill. I will never buy another Kenmore grill again.

This grill was awesome for 6 months. So at the current sale price of $299.00 it is a $50 a month grill. Beyond 6 months it is a major rustbucket. I had to replace the bottom with a self fitted cookie sheet.......2 times. It is now 2 1/2 years old and barely functions. It still looks great on the outside but that's about it. Burners are lame. I have to let it warm up for a while..I mean a while before using. I do not recommend this grill.
I purchased this grill in July 2012 because I wanted a bigger grill than my still-functioning, 15 yr-old my Weber grill. The grill was assembled by Sears. Upon delivery I noticed several potential design issues so I did not get rid of my Weber. I also purchased a premium, supposedly waterproof grill cover as Sears recommends storing the grill inside after each use. Although not very practical I now know why. The hood is designed in such a way that rain runs down the back and follows the curves until it drips inside to the drip pan. Two of the gas burner tube attachment brackets rusted off. The drip pan has a rust hole the size of a softball. Also, the grill does not heat nearly as efficiently as my old Weber. The Sears warranty DOES NOT cover rust! I would have expected a $350 grill to last much longer than two years. The only positive I found is that it does not use very much LP Gas. Luckily I can bring out my Weber and enjoy the remainder of the grilling season. Finally, when I purchased this grill the reviews were pretty good and in the short term it performs satisfactory; however, after two years of use I cannot recommend this grill as there are better brands available for similar costs.

Works great for just the two of us and when we have a big crowds. Cooks evenly and easy to start up. Love the color of the out side and its easy to clean. Havent had a chance to use the rotissie yet .
would give this grill a 0 if it was an option!bought this grill a year and a half ago- it is completely unusable! the drip pan has rusted out and has a whole the size of a basketball, three of four burner tube mounts are rusted completely off. The cooking grids are splitting apart from rust. The connection to the propone tank has rusted off and it now leaking gas. cheaply constructed will never by a kenmore. and as far as Sears customer serviCe is a JOKE as well. the help line will only offer a 10% discount on buying another piece of junk. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE
We've had this grill about a year now and are still as pleased with it as the day we bought it. It has ample grilling surface for all our needs and the searing burner is great for locking in the juice on steaks. It lights every time with no problem and the grates are still looking almost brand new. An excellent value for the money.
My wife wanted this grill because it would look good with our house, and it was on sale with special financing options. Being the one who uses it, I was more concerned with other aspects. I looked at several in the store in this price range. The searing burner was something I was really interested in trying, and I love it so far! Our steaks were juicier but still cooked as ordered, even my wife's well done no pink visible steak was good. Another thing I really like it the propane tank storage area being closed. We have raccoons who messed with the grill brushes on my old grill because there was no where to hide them. Now I can keep them inside and out of reach. As per some other reviews, I sprayed the grates before using and lined the drip pan with foil. Having wheels on all 4 corners makes moving it a breeze, and locking them keeps it in place. I grill on average 4 nights a week for 2 people all year long and am looking forward to many good meals cooked on this grill.
Loaned out our BBQ 3 yrs ago to our daughter! Yep last time we saw that. Truly missed having BBQ chicken, burger and steaks and our annual turkey. On line browsing at MANY stores including box stores. Sears selection was better so we went to see in person..a lot to select from but this one was the perfect size for our deck and cooking needs..works really well, husband quite pleased..has a side burner but haven't tried that yet. The sides are sturdier than most so that was a plus. Purchased a cover also to keep it looking nice..easy for him to put together..be careful when buying a BBQ these days..they seem to have HUGE gaps in the back..air circulation is one thing but several inch gap is a waste of heat and propane..
