Glad I purchased
This is a very well equipped stove especially at the price point. Some of the negatives I read mentioned the grate surface...it is indeed rough and leaves lint when cleaned with any cloth. I spray with a degreaser (inside my sink) sponge and spray off then allow to air dry...works great. Regarding the knobs not being labeled; they are labeled LO,MED and HIGH. Any recipe I ever followed use those terms and not numbers. Regarding oven "arrows" to set temperature, all digital ovens regardless of brand or price function the same way. So far so good. I have had 3 weeks now and no complaints yet.

No numbers for controls?
In looking at ovens, you look at the features, and this one seemed long on features at a good price. However, as you get it and start to use it, it doesn't take long to figure out why the price is low. The racks are extremely flimsy. This doesn't come with a griddle for the middle burner, like the GE does. But the biggest disappointment to me is that there are no numbers on the control panel. Only up and down arrows. When you try to set the temperature of timer, it is very frustrating. You go up too far past, then you have to arrow back down. Then it's too low, then up past again, well you get the point. My last range had an actual number pad and I didn't even think about that when I purchased this one. Also the knobs on front are very easy to accidentally turn on. I did this the other day while reaching into a cupboard overhead. Luckily I was standing there long enough to notice the gas odor. I am seriously thinking about returning this oven and just spending more money and getting that number pad!

good gas range

we were replacing a ~ 15 year old gas range. couple of things that stool out for middle burner it has a long burner as opposed to a small one on some models- so ddistrbutes heat more evenly. but it does not come with a griddle. Also one other thing is that burners put out a LOT of heat. for most everyday cooking we rely on low to low-med range

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Beautiful Stove!

This stove is beautiful. It works great. The quick boil burner really does work faster - just be careful because the flames go up around the sides of the pots. The convection oven really does make all the cookies on the cookie sheet brown evenly - just lower the oven temp by about 25 degrees from normal baking temp.

Cool

Overall, a great range. The controls are a bit clunky and I always forget to hit the 'Start' button after setting a temperature/timer, which means it doesn't actually start. But looks nice and performs well.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Kenmore Gas Range w convection

My kitchen needed an update so I replaced my old working Kenmore with this model. I love the convection for uniformed cooking and browning. It was a great deal at Sears!

LOVE IT!

I was hesitant to buy this oven because of the fifth burner and because of the convection oven, not fully understanding what it was. I am so glad that I decided to purchase this one. I love the convection. It cooks food quicker and more evenly. I have not used the fifth burner, but it is small enough that it does not interfere with the use of the other four burners.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Fantastic Convection

We are thrilled with this stove. Highly rated through Consumer Reports and at less than $200 more than a regular stove for the convection feature. Delivery was the next day and no problems with the installation.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Stove

Great stove for the price. Propane is way better than electric in my opinion and I think this stove does propane justice. Would definitely recommend.

Great unit for the price

This is far from the best range on the market. It's a fairly bare bones unit, but it is priced accordingly. The oven controls are simplistic. If you're looking for gadgets, this is not for you. The burners all seem to cook pretty even. I'm still not convinced the middle "griddle" burner is any better than using 2 side burners. However, I am going to give it more time to prove itself. The turbo burner is extremely powerful! The only complaints I have so far is that the oven racks are very flimsy and don't slide easily. The same can be said for the pull out drawer at the bottom. But then again this isn't a high end range so you get what you pay for.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
