I purchased the range when my old one quit working, I was looking for a decent range with outspending and arm and a leg. This range fit my needs, it was a great value and works awesome.
this is a new smooth top range for me and so far i have enjoyed it but i have to learn to cook all over again because the burner heats slow but when its hot i need to turn off the burner because i am use to using a coil type burner

I bought this for a rental property. The color was a good fit for the kitchen. It isn't self cleaning. If I had bought it for my house, I would have gotten the self cleaning option.

I bought this oven 7 years ago and had problems from day one. First the head panel and door handle had to be replaced after several months. Luckily for me, it was still under warranty. The head panel developed a burnt look under the left side ****. It seems that when the oven is in broil mode, it is too hot and this is the result. The tech came out and replaced the head panel. Well since then the handle comes loose on the right side often. I would screw it back in and continue using. Well after years of doing this, the other screw has finally come out and now the glass fell out. The door literally fell apart while cooking. Now I am looking for another stove because the cost to fix this oven is half of what I spent on it and considering the years already used, it makes sense to replace. This model is still out there and I would research this model some more if you are considering buying. I would recommend you buy something else!

Bought this stove in February 2012. Paid approximately $430. The inside of the stove started getting overly hot while temps were turned low. Error code started appearing in the read out (F10), which meant to call a repairman. After waiting 6 weeks, the repairman estimated with labor charges, the repair (a mis-functioning control panel would cost around $340 to replace. Do not buy this stove. Sears needs to address the faulty control panel issues before it is sold to more unsuspecting consumers. It looks great, but everything else is awful!!!
I bought this stove to replace one in a rental. The stove was easy to install and worked with no issues. The renter was impressed since I replaced the old coil top with the smooth top design.
Looks good, this is the third smooth top range in nearly 40 years. Very easy to keep clean and serves as extra space for countertop when not being used for cooking
