I purchased this oven for $1200. For the price it was an excellent choice. It needed reworked a little to fit properly into the cabinet. ---------- 1. I had to shim the top cover of the microwave to raise the bezel around the microwave. Without shimming the bezel the door of the microwave wouldn't open due to friction with the bezel. I placed two sets of two stacked washers, wrapped in electrical tape, under the top steel cover on the right and left. ---------- 2. The microwave assembly was 1/4" too far back. When it was slid into the cabinet the oven assembly was 1/4" from flush with the cabinet. I had to re-drill the black drip pan under the microwave, moving it forward 1/4". I then had to increase the length of the mounting slots that the microwave's mounting screws use. Everything now fits flush against the cabinet. ---------- 3. I had to install a new right angle conduit connector where the power enters the oven. The quick connect style that came with the oven broke during shipping. The hole where it entered the chassis was bent and it slipped out. I hammered the hole flat and used a good threaded connector with fender washers on the inside and outside of the entry point. ---------- The microwave works very well. The oven is OK and looks great in my kitchen. I am still monitoring the temperature accuracy. For a 400 degree preheat the oven took an additional 2 minutes. It then overshot 400 degree mark peaking near 450 degrees. I don't use the oven often. ---------- This unit replaced an 18 year old Magic Chef combo. The new Kenmore combo is much quieter than the old unit. I haven't noticed any excessive fan noise or the fan continuing to run after the oven is turned off. I do crack the door to let the heat out when I am finished using the oven. ---------- My unit was manufactured in Canada in February 2014.
This is by far is the worse oven I have ever owned! I bought because it was attractive and I was looking for a stainless steal wall oven combo. Soon after starting to use the oven...I realized I could never depend on the temperature or the amount of time I normally cooked recipes. I have cooked most of my recipes for over 10 years and never had an oven that burns food so quickly. Whenever I can, I'll cook items in my toaster oven (not kenmore brand) because I at least know that it will cook evenly and accurately. We had a new home built so I purchased all new kenmore appliances...biggest mistake I made! The refrigerator after 1 year leaks from the freezer and broken ice dispenser. If looking at buying Kenmore appliances...look for another brand. I read several reviews before buying the Kenmore appliances and wished I would have heeded their warnings! Please learn from my mistake!

We replaced our old Kenmore electric Combination All Oven with a new Kenmore electric combination wall oven and I'm thrilled with it. The esthetics are perfect in the newly remodeled kitchen. The stainless and black panel are absolutely beautiful. Stainless is easy to take care of! The microwave is so quiet that the first couple of times I used it, I had to make sure it was on. Thank you for a great product!
The combo was a long needed for my household. Our oven and microwave recently stopped working. I have search for several month for a replacement and could not find a combo that would working in my space nor a piece I was willing to pay. I wanted stainless combination wall oven. Sears' Kenmore was exactly what I was looking for. The combination wall oven was the exact size for my and space and the price was great. I love the new look of my kitchen and enjoy the performance of the combo.
Bought this combo to replace old 25 yo unit. Decent price at high cost trouble. Microwave keypad stopped working after 2years. Called service and after paying $135 to get fixed and being offered several times their one year warranty program for over $250.00 problem was solved, temporarily. 9 moths after same part broke again. Tech looked very familiar with issue so it seems this happens frequently. Since they only give you 90 days warranty i had to reorder part and pay tech another $65.00 to get it fixed. No wonder they only offer 90 days for protection. LOW QUALITY PARTS.
We have had this Kenmore oven/microwave for 3 weeks. Every time we use the oven....there is a annoying high speed fan that kicks on and off for up to an hour. The fan has 2 speeds...the low speed is normal, but the high speed is loud. We have had a technician come out twice and he replaced the fan and the new fan did the same thing. It would make sense if the fan would just kick on for 10 min or so and cool things off and be done. However, this fan goes on and off for an HOUR. It is very frustrating. We have had several guests comment on it. We bought a spec house and our builder obviously bought cheap stuff. We hate this oven and my wife wants to return it...but there aren't any other stainless combo's close to this price($1400 is what our builder paid)

I have purchased many Kenmore appliances in the past 30 yrs but am very disappointed with the oven/microwave combination that I purchased just 3 months ago. The oven apparently doesn't have a thermostat (that is what one of the 2 repairmen I have had come to fix it said). The oven takes far too long to heat up, and once it beeps that it is preheated, it still isn't at the set temperature. I wait 15 more minutes and sometimes it is at the right temperature and sometimes it is far above the set temperature. It cools off as soon as I open it to put something into it, but then takes really long to get back to temperature so nothing cooks in the prescribed amount of time. I have had Sears come twice to service it, just to be told that I am supposed to calibrate it each time! Forget it...I want a new oven. Thermostatically controlled ovens are not new technology. What is going on here? Soooo disappointed.

I am pretty happy with this combo - it replaced my old Whirlpool set. Initially I did have a problem withe microwave door sticking closed when the contents got hot and steamy. This stopped happening after about three months. I'm not fond of the oven fan running for a long period after the oven is turned off - it is louder than my dishwasher. Otherwise, I am happy with these appliances and they look nice.
