Bought this washing machine on Black Friday. Pick it up from Sears and installed. Installation process was very simple and easy. I did one load of clothing and realized the noise level is much lower than my previous washer. So far I am happy with it. I hope the machine will keep up the good work it was design to do and don't fail on me.

We just bought this machine today...and have already done several loads of clothes. So far we love it, except it's definitely noisy! This is the first HE washer we've owned, so no idea if this is a normal amount of noise for this type of machine. Washed a load of clothes, some was stained, came surprisingly clean!
Got this 2 days ago and returning it. Put in detergent, clothes (have to be around edges, can't cover sensor at bottom center) close, push start. The sensor takes several minutes to decide how large a load there is and it decides the amount of water. Then the noise begins! Everyone who has heard it thinks it must be broken. Like someone banging a hammer every 3 seconds. You can't add more clothes or you have to move everything off the sensor again and have it resense the load size. Doesn't spin as much water out as my former antique washer. I'm going to find a used one of my old style and be happy again!
Bought this washer to replace the one that broke down and it works great in the short amount of time it has been used and it was easy to hook up and is easy to use.

I have been using this washer for about a month and am very unhappy with it, wish I could exchange for a regular washer. The washer is very loud and does not get the clothes clean. I purchased the HE soap and the soap residue is still all over the clothes after washing. Some loads have been washed multiple times and soap residue is still present.
When I purchased my townhouse a year ago, I was thrilled to find that there was a washer and dryer in a laundry room on the first floor, a much more convenient location than the basement. It turned out to be a mixed blessing. The old Kenmore Series 70 washer was extremely noisy. When Sears had this model on sale, along with the bundled dryer, I couldn't resist. I was somewhat nervous about buying an HE washer. The published reviews on such machines are very mixed, to say the least. I downloaded the instruction manual and read it even before the machine was delivered. I was determined to do it right, in order to possibly avoid the problems others have reported with HE washers. I have only done three loads to this point but am very pleased. It is wonderfully quiet (particularly compared to my old washer). The laundry comes out clean. A full load on the Normal/Regular cycle took 45 minutes. I washed a queen size comforter on the "Bulky" cycle with an extra rinse. It took an hour and 20 minutes. The noises are different than a conventional washer. The different loading routine is somewhat difficult to get used to. I filled the machine with one load of clothes only to realize that I forgot to first pour the HE detergent in the bottom of the basket. Out the clothes came, in went the detergent, back in went the clothes. Don't be afraid of this HE washer! It's great!
This washer arrived a few days ago. I have used it 4 times and it dies out at the spin cycle. It is being returned. I have never had to do this with a Kenmore product. I would not buy this!!!!
