Purchased this washer, had it delivered, they tested it before they left yaay! I was so excited and then silly me...I tried to do laundry in it! IT DID NOT WORK. I do have to say the sounds the buttons make is the only exciting thing about this machine!! I called to have it repaired (after having it for 1 day) and the very nice repair guy came and said we needed a new one. So I am thinking "Okay! can they deliver it tomorrow?" NOPE I now have to wait a week for a new washer!! A WEEK! called customer service and they told me that they only build-to-order! so even if I picked a new model I would still have to wait a week for a new washer. UNBELIEVABLE!! They repair guy even said that he gets TONS of calls about this washer. It is 2014! for **** sake! ...with all the progress....where's the progress!?....So if you would like a washer for your home that does not work by all means click BUY NOW!... But remember when it doesn't work sears does not reimburse you for the quarters you need for the laundromat!

This is the worst machine I have ever owned. My clothes don't get clean. They come out covered in lint even after a couple of rinses and so wrinkled that the wrinkles don't come out in the dryer. I have to shake out everything before putting them in the dryer and still may need to iron them. This machine needs a real agitator. I wish I had my 18 year old machine back.
I hate this machine. My clothes come out dirtier than when i put them in. The dark clothes come out with soap residue on them. Sears technician has been to my home 4 times now and doesn't know how to fix the problem. I have tried smaller loads, second rinse and clear detergent. Nothing helps. I have to put them back in and just use the rinse/drain cycle, which defeats the whole purpose of HE, because I am using more water. And Sears repair service is terrible. I have always bought my appliances from Sears with an extended warranty. I will never buy another appliance from them.
So much easier without the big agitator in the middle!!! And love that it senses to know the water level. I will mention that you can hear it doing this as I saw some mention the sound. But I do not even notice it any more. Clothes are always clean and the spin does a great job of getting out excess water. Have really enjoyed having this machine!
Pros: I decided to test my shiny new washer with three of my daughter's treasured possessions: her pink blanket (which the old washer's agitator all but destroyed), her stuffed polar bear (who is also a victim of Agitatoritis), and a pair of her favorite, but daycare-stained, shoes. I also followed up with a load of sheets, almost immediately. All of them came out clean (no issues with lint, as others reported) or lingering soap. As far as I can tell, all the stains came out of the polar bear -- which was looking downright grey even after two washes in the old washer -- and he is his normal, white blending-in-arctic tundra self. Thank goodness! I also managed to knock out some long-lasting stains from my "freshly dyed hair" pillowcases. Bye bye, pink and purple stains! Maybe our old washer sucked, but this is a definite improvement from my old Maytag (which was brand new in 2007). I loved that machine, but I didn't realize how dingy my whites were coming out until I could compare it to my new machine! If anything changes, as far as my review is concerned, I'll follow-up with another review in a month or two! Cons: 1) It is loud. Maybe I am spoiled from the rhythmic thunk-thunk-thunk of my older, traditional washer's spin cycle, but this one took some getting used to. It is loud -- not so much as to disturb me but, so far, I am constantly aware of it in the background, kind of like a dishwasher can be obnoxiously loud. Maybe that'll improve as I grow accustomed to it, though. 2) The curved top. Man, that is bad design. It looks pretty, sure, but I live in a postage stamp and need all the space I can get. The top of my dryer always held stuff for laundry, like hangers for things I'd hang dry, but everything just wiggles off the top of it during the wash/dry process. The noise and the curved top are enough to make me knock a star off because, in a small apartment, they can be dealbreakers! If I didn't want to take a step back into a machine with an agitator, I'd probably return them for this reason.

The first couple of times we used this washer it worked fine. I was not happy to see that a normal wash takes 1 hour. There is no such thing as a small load.....everything takes an hour. The racket sound that comes from the machine can be heard on the second floor of my house and the laundry room is in my basement. No agitator does not mean more room. A queen size comforter will not fit like the salesman assured me it would. This machine is not worth the money. I would not recommend this at all. Very disappointed!
Just bought this washer in Januar 2014,and so far I do like the way the washer cleans. It uses minimal amounts of water, yet seems to clean just fine. I use the He soap and find I need less of that too. As others have stated, it is pretty loud during it's operation- Much louder than my older model. But it doesn't tear my clothes as stated in other reviews. You must follow directions as far as loading, but otherwise this washer works well. I put up with the noise because it does a good job.

This is my first time using a washer with no agitator and this makes loading it a breeze. Yes, it makes some interesting noises and that does take some getting used to. However, the wash comes out very clean. It has many different types of cycles - hot, warm, cool, and tap temperature, three different spin speeds - and it uses only the water it needs to do the load. I do not know what is up with the people that have had issues with lint and such as I have not seen this. Great product and I recommend it.

Very disappointed in this washer. I had a Kenmore W&D for 20 years- yes TWENTY years- that worked perfectly. I was being pro-active and bought new- bad mistake. I wish I had my old W&D back. This washer takes 45 minutes for delicate cycle when my old washer took 15 min. (and they call this energy efficient?) As I write this- I have a service man out for a second time trying to figure out why it wont drain, spin. The lid lock is frustrating. The cycles take entirely too long and as far as design- the top is slanted so you cant place anything on top of it or it will slide off.
