When I started researching this washer, i was very concerned about the reviews that I saw. However, I loved it! I know some have complained about the noise, however I had a front loader HE for the past 7 yrs and this machine is no more noisy then that. I just think if you've never had an HE then the noise is going to catch you off guard at first. As far as having to re-rinse clothes, Ive never had to do that. Just remember that HE means you dont need to use as much soap. Follow the instructions and you will be fine. I did see one review where clothes were torn and lint was left on clothes. I have not had this problem at all. In fact, I never realized how dingy my clothes use to be with my front loader until I did my first load with this one. I do have just one thing I dont like and thats the time. My front loader would wash a normal load in 30 mins, and this one takes at least 45mins but with that being said, my whites came out looking as white as they did when I first bought them. I love this washer and highly recommend!
Despite ALWAYS having to use the 2nd rinse option to get the soap out, still stains don't come out. The washer with agitator from 14 years ago was so much better. There is something about this machine's not using much water and not having an agitator that is wreaking havoc on my clothes. Even sturdy pants are coming out of the washer with torn threads.
What a nightmare! We've searched online about this washer and everyone seems to agree! Clothes are NOT clean after washing! We NEVER pack the basket and still there are clothes that don't get ANY water on them. Also, the insides have rusted already (owned for 1 1/2). Cannot get the rust out of our clothes! Also, whites are soooo dingy! Yuck. We are so disappointed. Love ALL our Sears appliances but this is a nightmare!

Save your money. My clothing never gets clean. Takes all day to do my bedding. Loud and long and very dissappointed. I have had this machine for 3 months. I bought warranty package. I have had it looked at and the person that came to check it out said its just not a good washer. Alot of calls on it.And Sears says thats too bad. Add extra rinse cycle for more water. Again...bad washer. Look further.
Purchased this washer, had it delivered, they tested it before they left yaay! I was so excited and then silly me...I tried to do laundry in it! IT DID NOT WORK. I do have to say the sounds the buttons make is the only exciting thing about this machine!! I called to have it repaired (after having it for 1 day) and the very nice repair guy came and said we needed a new one. So I am thinking "Okay! can they deliver it tomorrow?" NOPE I now have to wait a week for a new washer!! A WEEK! called customer service and they told me that they only build-to-order! so even if I picked a new model I would still have to wait a week for a new washer. UNBELIEVABLE!! They repair guy even said that he gets TONS of calls about this washer. It is 2014! for **** sake! ...with all the progress....where's the progress!?....So if you would like a washer for your home that does not work by all means click BUY NOW!... But remember when it doesn't work sears does not reimburse you for the quarters you need for the laundromat!

This is the worst machine I have ever owned. My clothes don't get clean. They come out covered in lint even after a couple of rinses and so wrinkled that the wrinkles don't come out in the dryer. I have to shake out everything before putting them in the dryer and still may need to iron them. This machine needs a real agitator. I wish I had my 18 year old machine back.
I hate this machine. My clothes come out dirtier than when i put them in. The dark clothes come out with soap residue on them. Sears technician has been to my home 4 times now and doesn't know how to fix the problem. I have tried smaller loads, second rinse and clear detergent. Nothing helps. I have to put them back in and just use the rinse/drain cycle, which defeats the whole purpose of HE, because I am using more water. And Sears repair service is terrible. I have always bought my appliances from Sears with an extended warranty. I will never buy another appliance from them.
So much easier without the big agitator in the middle!!! And love that it senses to know the water level. I will mention that you can hear it doing this as I saw some mention the sound. But I do not even notice it any more. Clothes are always clean and the spin does a great job of getting out excess water. Have really enjoyed having this machine!
Pros: I decided to test my shiny new washer with three of my daughter's treasured possessions: her pink blanket (which the old washer's agitator all but destroyed), her stuffed polar bear (who is also a victim of Agitatoritis), and a pair of her favorite, but daycare-stained, shoes. I also followed up with a load of sheets, almost immediately. All of them came out clean (no issues with lint, as others reported) or lingering soap. As far as I can tell, all the stains came out of the polar bear -- which was looking downright grey even after two washes in the old washer -- and he is his normal, white blending-in-arctic tundra self. Thank goodness! I also managed to knock out some long-lasting stains from my "freshly dyed hair" pillowcases. Bye bye, pink and purple stains! Maybe our old washer sucked, but this is a definite improvement from my old Maytag (which was brand new in 2007). I loved that machine, but I didn't realize how dingy my whites were coming out until I could compare it to my new machine! If anything changes, as far as my review is concerned, I'll follow-up with another review in a month or two! Cons: 1) It is loud. Maybe I am spoiled from the rhythmic thunk-thunk-thunk of my older, traditional washer's spin cycle, but this one took some getting used to. It is loud -- not so much as to disturb me but, so far, I am constantly aware of it in the background, kind of like a dishwasher can be obnoxiously loud. Maybe that'll improve as I grow accustomed to it, though. 2) The curved top. Man, that is bad design. It looks pretty, sure, but I live in a postage stamp and need all the space I can get. The top of my dryer always held stuff for laundry, like hangers for things I'd hang dry, but everything just wiggles off the top of it during the wash/dry process. The noise and the curved top are enough to make me knock a star off because, in a small apartment, they can be dealbreakers! If I didn't want to take a step back into a machine with an agitator, I'd probably return them for this reason.
