Kenmore 3.8 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer - Efficient and Thorough
This Kenmore high-efficiency washer 2510 is a laundry essential, helping you to get your family's clothes clean and ready to wear. It gets the job done efficiently, using 65% less water and 75% less energy than other machines. The Kenmore high-efficiency washer also includes the StainBoost option, which provides extended washing to remove tough stains from clothing. It has the capacity to wash a large load of towels, or even bulky comforters and pillows.
- Combining wash basket motion, impeller rotation and a burst of concentrated detergent, the Triple Action® impeller deep cleans fabrics while using less water.
- Stainboost™ extends wash time for a deeper soak, better cleaning penetration and more powerful stain removal while remaining gentle on fabrics.
- A small footprint makes this washer an easy fit for apartments, basements and starter homes, while powerful performance delivers the same clean you’d expect from larger machines.
- Rapid spin speeds squeeze excess water from clothes, linens and more for faster, easier transfer to your dryer and shorter dry times.
- Designed to help remove detergent build-up, cut down on odors and rinse away any left-over grime, the Clean Washer cycle provides essential maintenance for optimum performance.

Bought in 20012...Died in 2014. Paid $498 plus tax and now the electronic do not work....$400 to fix...and $79 to tell me what was wrong...What a ripoff! Sears stop selling this machine..Also had the problem of lint on all dark clothes....No help at the consumer call center...Buy anything but a Kenmore....

So disappointed with this machine. It does not clean my laundry! I've tried everything from changing detergents to having repair service come out (He told me to load differently. I've been washing clothes for 40 years and read the instruction booklet, so I'm pretty sure I know how to load a machine.) White towels are no longer white. I'm forced to do most loads on the heavy duty cycle with a second rinse which takes over 70 minutes to complete- this defeats the purpose of trying to save energy! I'm actually thinking about getting rid of the machine and buying another non He/non Kenmore machine even though this machine is less than 2 years old. If you want nice clean clothes and towels, do not buy this machine.

I'm not sure why all of the bad reviews but I've owned this machain for a year and have not had a single issue. My clothes get clean & it's not extremely loud. Mine works perfect. It doesn't have ALL the bells and whistles but for a lower priced set, you can't expect that.

This is the absolute worst machine ever! My darks come out with white residue all over them even when i wash it it warm or any setting with second rinse. I literally have to run the machine a second time with no detergent and a second rinse and still there is residue. I'm sure my whites do too I just can't see it on there. Don't buy it and save yourself the headache. I use very little he detergent and it happens every time. My old machine with agitator worked 1000 times better than this one. I'm not sure it even cleans. Save yourself the headache and get another machine. Sears should not even be selling such a crappy machine. I've owned this right pass the 1 year mark so I can't even take it back.
This machine will not remove basic stains like chocolate milk! Using high efficiency detergent and Tide brand. I am hoping it breaks soon (got it 3 months ago) so I can buy another brand. Shame on Kenmore! I had a whirlpool for 10 years, I wish I spent more money to buy a better brand.
As a Kenmore owner for most of my life, I trusted this brand implicitly. I have owned this washer for 3 or 4 years now, and would not recommend a purchase for the following reasons: 1. The drain cycle is not reliable for some reason. I have often had to repeat the "drain and spin" cycle up to four times to get the water out enough to start drying 2. After a fairly short lifespan, it is now leaking all over the laundry room from somewhere on the bottom of the machine 3. It's the first HE washer I've owned, and probably the last; do NOT expect your clothes to get as clean and fresh as they did in a regular washer! The machine does have some great features, especially the 'delicate' cycle and the 2nd rinse option. HE washers have bigger capacity than the old agitator washers because they don't have the spindle. Therefore you can wash a king sized duvet in it. IF this machine did not suffer from mechanical problems coupled with the normal problems of HE washers in general, I would have happily used it for 20 years, and put up with the slightly greyer, smellier clothing. But considering its cost compared to its longevity, I'd say definitely give this a miss!
I love this machine! It does absolutely everything it says it will. I noticed that some of the reviews say that it's noisy--it's not that noisy, but it is louder than the old-fashioned agitators. I'm good with it though--small price to pay for using so much less water and electricity (BTW, Europe has been using similar machines for decades.) I also noticed that some reviews complained that it beats up the fabric. I did two loads today--the first towels on hot and high and they came out cleaner than ever before with no damage. The spin cycle is so effective that the towels were almost dry when I removed them. They dried in record time! The second load was delicate shirts and T-shirts. Again, they came out so clean and nice and even though I used a gentler spin cycle (yes, you can set that!), they still dried in record time. When I took them out of the dryer, there wasn't a wrinkle to be seen. I haven't tried line drying yet so we'll see about that later. I suspect that many of the bad reviews might be due to people setting the machine up incorrectly (mine was done by the delivery person) and not reading the instructions before using it. For example, you have to use HE detergent. I'm finding that as long as you use the correct cycle for your loads and don't mix things like towels and delicates, this is a dream machine. I'm super happy with it and recommend it without hesitation.
I had my other Kenmore washer and dryer since 1990. It still worked, but the clutch was getting alittle loud. Thought it was time to step up into the new HE washers.....DO NOT DO IT!!!! I would love to have my old agitator washer back!!! My clothes come out more wrinkled then they did with the agitator...I have had clothes come out with the laundry detergent streaked all over them, and that does not come out! I too paused my machine to add something, and there was absolutely no water in the machine at all, the clothes were wet, but that was all. And the noise it makes, unreal. The first night I had it,my family was here for supper and the washer was on. My daughter in law asked what all that noise was, I told her the washer, and she said you need to send that back, its broken!!! She has a front load HE washer that makes no noise...would I recommend this washer...NO WAY. Also, the hoops you have to jump through just to get on here to write a review is ridiculous....if I wanted to join all the ****, I would have when I purchased the washer and dyer. The dryer that matches this washer so far is ok.....

Well this washer doesn't. Bought because of the large tub. Little did I realize that HE means no water. Stopped a load to see that there was 3 inches of water for a regular size load. Have stopped other loads to see that the water was soaked up by the clothes so there was no visible water. I will never buy another HE washer, EVER. Then there's the issue of not your typical agitator. This new fangled agitator and agitation pretty much beats the you know what out of the clothes. If there's a tiny hole it will soon become a big hole. Have finally gotten use to noise of The Rocketship...Wish I had read these reviews before buying. Should have returned it. Now I just want to send it to the moon.
