Kenmore — trusted in the homes of more than 100 million Americans
Spend less time doing laundry with the Kenmore steam front-load washer 41372 with the Accela-Wash™ option, which gives you the option of speeding up 7 of this washer's 10 cycles by up to 35%. This Kenmore washer has a built-in heater that produces steam to remove stains by deeply penetrating fabrics—it virtually eliminates the need to pre-treat stains. And it has an energy-saving option that you can use with the Normal and Heavy-duty cycles that lowers the wash temperature and increases the wash time, so clothes get clean using up to 30% less energy
The white Kenmore 4137 front-loading steam washer takes advantage of technologies such as Kenmore Connect™, which can troubleshoot some problems over the phone, and Smart Motion™, which uses motions such as rolling, tumbling, stirring and cradling, depending on the cycle you select. Its 1,2000 rpm maximum spin speed extracts water from garments so they need less drying, also saving energy. Sound insulation and an anti-vibration system keep this Kenmore front-loading steam washer quiet, so you can install it near living areas and bedrooms.

Just purchased on sale.Installed myself.Leveling the feet a little tricky.Make sure you level this perfectly or it might orbit into outerspace.Machine does a great job of spinning water out of clothes. Some of the presets need changed, they love to use warm water instead of cold. A little noisy compared to my old Maytag neptune but appears to be a much nicer machine.
We've had this washer for 6 months now. Running probably half a dozen loads a week. We're very happy. It's much quieter than our previous 10yr old Kenmore. My wife likes some of the different washing options that the new model has.
The first one I purchased had a leak from day 1. I think it was only during the spin cycle. I could see drips of water coming from the middle of the bottom. Also, during initial filling, the start/stop of water intake is so violent that the pipes in my walls would bang and make loud noises. I thought my neighbor was banging on the wall till I realized it was the washer. The second one is working fine so far. no leaks, clothes/bedding come out clean as far as i can tell and they come out fairly dry already. But there is still the noise from the water intake/shut-off... no where as bad as before and it seemed more localized to the inlet hose instead of the whole pipes in the wall. I wrapped a towel around the hose so it wouldn't bang against the wall or washer. I thought about returning this one again but I got a good deal during labor day sale. and with 5 year protection, it came to $1k. Time will tell. Looks like some people had good machines and some got lemons... I'm experiencing somewhere in between.
I bought this Kenmore washer/dryer on an extraordinary sale ($649 each :) ) We've had these units in our apartment for two months now and they are amazing. There are more features than I could ask for or even use. The buttons feel solid, the chimes are a nice tone, and most importantly it gets the clothes clean. Right now we're using a mix of Tide w/ Fabreeze and Clorox2 and it's been great. I live on a second floor unit and our old stacked washer/dryer would shake the whole building. Not anymore! It handles large load exceptionally well, from bedding to two weeks of dress shirts and slacks. I'm really happy with it and highly recommend it. If you can find it on sale, buy it!
Clothes never got clean... tried a variety of HE detergents and fabric softeners but athletic clothes and kitchen rags still smelled terrible after washing. Whites turned grey even though they were washed separately and with hot water. Wanted to give this machine the benefit of the doubt, but gave up after a few weeks and returned it for a top loader.

The washer cleans great. I have been happy with my clothes after washing them. It is a good size and it looks nice. Within 10 loads the machine gave en error code telling me there was a problem with the motor. After a brief conversation with Sears customer service they decided a part of the motor needed to be replaced. The first available appointment was two weeks from the date it broke.

I have a Kenmore front load washer for few years. It leaks out small amount of water through the door. I did not realize the problem until a big rust area showed up on the panel right under the door. Sears will not take care the problem after warranty expired nor take care of rust even if in warranty.
