Kenmore 3.6 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer - Convenient and Efficient
This efficient Kenmore 3.6 cu. ft. top-load washer 2210 features an exclusive Triple Action agitator that provides motion in three directions. While the base moves back and forth, the post moves up and down and clockwise. This provides more cleaning action to ensure your laundry is washed perfectly. With an impressive 12 cycles, including Bulky, Delicates and Deep Wash, this machine allows you to choose the best cycle for each specific load. A second rinse option ensures any leftover residue is removed, and the 700 RPM spin cycle helps extract water from clothes. Get cleaner clothes using less water and less energy with this Kenmore top-load washer.
- Combining wash basket motion, impeller rotation, and a burst of concentrated detergent, the Triple Action® agitator deep cleans fabrics while using less water.
- A small footprint makes this washer an easy fit for apartments, basements and starter homes, while powerful performance delivers the same clean you’d expect from larger machines.
- Multiple wash cycles give your hardy work clothes, delicate linens, and stained fabrics the treatment they need to look their best.
- Rapid spin speeds squeeze excess water from clothes, linens and more for faster, easier transfer to your dryer and shorter dry times.

For the life of me I can't understand why we're letting machines take over the decision-making. Fridges that call a repairman on their own, cars that stop/start on their own, washing machines that will not let you pause more than 10 minutes without draining out all the water and forcing you to start over again. Apparently whoever designed this washer never had to stop a cycle midway and run to the *********, walk the dog, leave the house for whatever reason or just want to soak something. Now I've discovered I can't even wash two bed pillows without the thing going off balance. I guess my wall-to-wall carpet in the bathroom is going to be a no-no too. This machine frequently goes off balance. I do like that you can choose the water level, temp and rinse options unlike HE washers, where they decide all those things for you. But all in all this machine is making my laundry life more difficult, not less.

I just bought this washer. It produces lots of noise. Please read instructions... This washer locks and works with a sensor. You have to hurry and load the washer and close the door or the water will drain. I like being in charge of my laundry settings and how I wish to wash my clothes, you know manually control... Oppose to this washer that limits and controls everything by how, what and when to wash. Hopefully with time it will grow on me.
This washer is soooo quiet! Love the second rinse option. It is a life saver for cloth diaper washing. Overall, I am very happy with this washer. No complaints really.

1st Many are confused by washers these days.. read and understand if you live in an apartment don't buy HE...this washer is fabulous for apartments I don't pay a water bill thank goodness.. so my water flow on this non he machine is fine. also He machines do not fill up in an apartment or house...because of the tech input to save on water bills... so its one thing people need to know..I love my Kenmore exclusive washing machine... I recommend this to anyone that lives in an apartment or house that wants real water flow...Remember that the HE washing machines don't put out water its design to save water so the machine will never fill up which leads to excessive wash loads... so why by HE???? Thanks Kenmore I Love My Exclusive Non He Machine. Definately will recommend this to my neighbors and friends and you too if your reading this.
Coming off a bad HE experience with another brand, went straight to this washer. Clothes are clean and well-spun without being twisted. Easy to understand control panel. Second rinse option, with and without fabric softener. It has everything we want and none of the hassle. Highly recommend. Affordable too, bought on sale for $399.
I researched different washing machines for my parents and decided on this Kenmore because I like Kenmore and my parents didn't want an HE washer. I was surprised that it was so quiet despite other reviews. It is as old school as you can get with a top load washer today. It does have locking lid which I think all washers have today. You can start the machine filling water but you must have the lid closed by the time the washer starts to wash or it will drain. I like that fill feature because you can add detergent and let some water in the washer before adding clothes. I would recommend this washer if you want a traditional top load washer because this is as close as you can get to the old type washer.

For 35 years I have purchased Kenmore washers/dryers for 3 households and have been very satisfied. Last week I bought Kenmore model 23102 washer and am very dissatisfied. 1. Warm water is COLD. Cold water is cold as it should be; hot water is hot as it should be. 2. Water fills EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW. 3. One day after delivery I called for service; was told had to wait 4 days. Why would Sears not prioritize immediate service on a new delivery? So I waited 4 days, then waited 3 days (taking off work) for technician to come. First he doesn't know where to look on the machine for the serial and model number. Then he finds it and starts to diagnose the washer. He immediately tells me this model WILL NOT FILL ANY FASTER, and that the WARM setting is just as it is. I say my other Kenmore that was just replaced gave WARM water that was warmer than cold and not as hot as hot. He tells me this model does not work that way. Essentially he's saying THERE IS NO WARM WATER TEMPERATURE. He says it works on a thermostat vs. older models mixed cold and hot water. He goes to his truck and comes back with a thermometer of some kind. He tests the "warm" water, then drops it in the water which killed it, so he couldn't actually verify the difference between the temperatures, but BOTTOM LINE HE SAYS THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO GET WARM WATER. Then he says this IS the warm setting in Florida, which is nonsense, because WARM on the previous washer and 2 other washers I have access to in friend's homes, give WARM water. I AM VERY UNHAPPY AND CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE OR SEARS
Replaced an old Whirlpool with this about four months ago. At first the sounds were so different - it sounded like it was struggling to agitate. Called everywhere to ask if this is normal - no one could answer. They said "send it back and get a new one". Thought this was a total waste of time and $ on Sears end, but thats what I did. New one was just the same, so what could I say! Gets clothes clean - a good test is hanging towels on the clothes line. They felt like sandpaper with the old machine - this one must rinse better - they feel like towels should. The only negative is the basket will drain itself if you leave the lid open for too long - no way to soak overnight...But once I got used to the idiosyncrasies, its ok. Takes a little getting used to, esp. the agitator that sounds like a s-l-o-w creaky door.
