Kenmore 3.6 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer - Convenient and Efficient
This efficient Kenmore 3.6 cu. ft. top-load washer 2210 features an exclusive Triple Action agitator that provides motion in three directions. While the base moves back and forth, the post moves up and down and clockwise. This provides more cleaning action to ensure your laundry is washed perfectly. With an impressive 12 cycles, including Bulky, Delicates and Deep Wash, this machine allows you to choose the best cycle for each specific load. A second rinse option ensures any leftover residue is removed, and the 700 RPM spin cycle helps extract water from clothes. Get cleaner clothes using less water and less energy with this Kenmore top-load washer.
- Combining wash basket motion, impeller rotation and a burst of concentrated detergent, the Triple Action® impeller deep cleans fabrics while using less water.
- A small footprint makes this washer an easy fit for apartments, basements and starter homes, while powerful performance delivers the same clean you’d expect from larger machines.
- Multiple wash cycles give your hardy work clothes, delicate linens, and stained fabrics the treatment they need to look their best.
- Rapid spin speeds squeeze excess water from clothes, linens and more for faster, easier transfer to your dryer and shorter dry times.

This washer is the worst I've had in my 70+ years on this earth. If I could rate it "no stars", I would. It does NOT get clothes clean. I bought the washer and matching dryer. The dryer is fine. The washer is extremely LOUD! It make noises from beyond the universe. It is disruptive and you sure can't talk near it when it's running. Watching TV and talking on the phone is out of the question while doing laundry. If I could take it back, I would. Additionally, I've wasted money on buying insurance on the "bucket of ****".
I would really recommend this product. You cannot beat the price for this great quality. Plus it saves lots of energy which is a must. It is very affordable with all you need.
I just bought this pair last Friday. I paid only $699.00 for the pair. I assume they are closing them out. So far both machines have performed up to my expectations. I don't care if the washer takes a little more time because of the sensor. If it cleans the clothes and keeps my wife happy then I'm happy. It is easy to run and the clothes are fairly free of water after spinning. It seems to me that you could find more for your money than these machines offer. So far I would give them a ten.
I read every review before I bought this washer. Admit that it was a bit sceptable of this washer, because of all the negative feedback. But for the price I took a chance. It's actually a nice washer for the price. It's definitely a new age washer. Very efficient with the water. Does make a little noise during certain points of the cycle, but the directions tells you this. Noise is not to the extent of what these other reviews are saying. Cleans your clothes very well! Maybe some people can't wash clothes or read directions! So if your on a budget and you need a washer, this is a nice buy.
I had this in particular machine in my basket to buy online , then read the reviews and took it out. I am scared of the complexity of the energy efficient machines. Fearfully, I went to Sears and the sales Lady talked me into it. If I were King, saving energy in the washing machine department would be back seat to good old reliability. I have an apartment building with 4 family's sharing a 1978 maytag and that is a real machine. Those Iron horse machines are long gone. If a consumer goes in not expecting too much, this machine might make you happy. Know that you cannot be in a hurry. the 10 minute loads I use to do are over. Now it is more like an hour and ten minutes. These reviews read from quiet to noisy. My machine is not quiet. What maybe makes it seem extra loud is all the happenings. It measures the load, clicks, clacks, adds a few cups of water, clicks, starts, stops, like lots of things, I had to learn to ignore it. The most important factor in the purchase is...does my wife like it. Pretty much she is okay with this Kenmore. That is #1 to me. The tub is HUGE. My wife is still able to load it uneven and it will be crashing against the dryer ( rugs ).... outside of that, she says "it is okay" , just takes long. So I waited a month to do the review. To see if it works okay.. put in soap first, then load, dont listen to all the quirky noises and walk away and forget about it. Chances are the clothes will be cleaner coming out then when they went in. So, I am saving some water. shoot, I do not care if I save two gallons a load. I spray on my lawn in a day what this machine saves me in a year. Would I buy a 1978 Maytag if I could ? Yes. Would I buy this Kenmore because this is not 1978. Yes. I did. Would I recommend this machine to a friend, No, because I would not recommend any machine to a friend. Too risky, some like it, some do not. Hope this helps you with your decision.
I bought this machine because it was the lowest priced HE, energy star rated one I could find. I read a lot of ratings and reviews and this machine has many of the features of MUCH more expensive machines. I especially like that this one has the center spindle to assist in agitating the clothes. I have trouble believing that the new drums on top loaders without the spindle actually move the clothes vertically in the water while agitating and rinsing. Anyway, this machine seems to be everything I wanted in a modern washing machine without the expense of some that are out there. Yes, the noises it makes are different than an old school washer. Yes, it clicks and hums and buzzes and pauses during the cycle. THIS IS ALL NORMAL. HE machines are nothing like their ancestors. They are much, much better. Your clothes get cleaner with a lot fewer resources being used to do the job. If the noises are really more important, then go ahead and pay up to $1,500 for a machine that just has more insulation so you don't hear them. I'll spend my money on other things. I HIGHLY recommend this machine if you want clean clothes and excellent value for your dollar.

I bought this washer 6 months ago and it is the worst washer ever! My old beat up washing machine cleaned the clothes 1000% better. The whites come out gray and dingy and it does not remove stains (even with pre treatment). How is a washer energy efficient if you have to wash them 3x just to get them marginally clean? The problem is the technology employed. Clothes need to move and agitate in a decent amount of water to get clean. This machine does neither. Buyers beware don't buy this machine.
The previous negative reviews this Kenmore 3.6 top-load washing machine are way off base and show a complete misunderstanding of the features of the machine and, indeed, how to operate it. The sensing feature takes only the first time to get used to it, and the point of the sensing feature is to save you money. You CAN get the lid to unlock and add a garment mid-cycle (when all else fails, read the instructions). It has many features and options, is reasonably quiet, the clothes come out sparkling clean, and the cycles take maybe two minutes longer b/c of the sensing feature. At this price point, this Kenmore 3.6 top-load is a wonderful washing machine.
