Product Description

Kenmore 3.6 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer - Convenient and Efficient

This efficient Kenmore 3.6 cu. ft. top-load washer 2210 features an exclusive Triple Action agitator that provides motion in three directions. While the base moves back and forth, the post moves up and down and clockwise. This provides more cleaning action to ensure your laundry is washed perfectly. With an impressive 12 cycles, including Bulky, Delicates and Deep Wash, this machine allows you to choose the best cycle for each specific load. A second rinse option ensures any leftover residue is removed, and the 700 RPM spin cycle helps extract water from clothes. Get cleaner clothes using less water and less energy with this Kenmore top-load washer.

  • Combining wash basket motion, impeller rotation and a burst of concentrated detergent, the Triple Action® impeller deep cleans fabrics while using less water.
  • A small footprint makes this washer an easy fit for apartments, basements and starter homes, while powerful performance delivers the same clean you’d expect from larger machines.
  • Multiple wash cycles give your hardy work clothes, delicate linens, and stained fabrics the treatment they need to look their best.
  • Rapid spin speeds squeeze excess water from clothes, linens and more for faster, easier transfer to your dryer and shorter dry times.

So Far Good
Items to note. When you start your load let the washer go through its sensing cycle (don't open the lid thinking something is wrong). Only frustrating part of these new washers is that the lid locks so you can't just throw in some more clothing once the cycle has started but I think this is a safety feature because it seems all new washers are going this route. In my opinion this washer is the best of both worlds. It uses an agitator while gaining high efficiency technology to conserve water (uses sensors to determine how much water to use for the particular load this is a part of the initial 'sensing cycle' the washer goes through). Agitators seems to do a good job of cleaning and are easier on clothing. I have many years of experience with the newer non-agitator HE washers and what I have found is they are very hard on clothing compared to the agitator style and I honestly don't feel the non-agitator washers get clothing any cleaner. I also find that the non-agitator washer are not durable. If you buy one you'll likely run into problems within the first 5 years. *Make sure washer is secure on floor by adjusting the feet of the washer. Also use a level to get the washer level. In my opinion this washer works great and I hope they continue making agitator style washers indefinitely!

Love this washer!

At first i didn't like this washer because it didn't fill up with enough water to clean well, but I accidentally corrected this problem. I pushed the pause button to add another garment but held it in too long and turned the cycle off. The machine drained but DID NOT SPIN. So, I began the cycle again and due to the weight of the water logged clothes, the sensor told the machine that this was a heavy load. To my surprise, the machine filled up completely and agitated my clothes to a beautiful clean. I now do this with each load, and if its a small load, I add a towel or two to give it weight. I don't add detergent until I start it for the second time. When I first start it, I set a timer for 10 minutes. That gives the machine enough time to get going, then I push the pause button, add my detergent and close the lid! Presto!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

It's going back to Sears

Only did 3 or 4 loads of laundry. Was doing a load of bluejeans it sounded like it was going to self destruct. It would not finish the load just keep filling up with water and restarting. Had to take the load to a friends house to wring them out. It's slow, noisy and spends to much time sensing and it takes forever to do a load. Bought the matching dryer it was dead on arrival. They did send a new one but after the ordeal with the washer we don't trust eater one of them.

nice washer

had it now for 3 months i myself think it does a wonderful job, this is a good washer for the basement because it does make a little noise when its spinning rinse cycle people say it tears your clothes, you have to have it on the right cycle if you have something for delicate do not put it on regular cycle i think gets my clothes very clean (gain detergent) it does take longer than normal.when i bought this it was a floor model was 110.00 cheaper just no box ,same warranty and free delivery, always look at the floor models first many good deals see if he can bring down the price more, just ASK!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Worse Washer I have ever Seen!

TOTALLY dissatisfied with this washer. We bought it about 2 months age and have regretted that purchase since. It is absolutely the NOISIEST, SLOW machine I have ever owned. We gave away to charity our old washer that was 12 years old and we wish we had it back every time we use this piece of junk machine. It is almost CERTAIN that it will need repair within a year or so. The computerized board and all the sessions that it must go through are really frustrated. Don't walk away from buying this machine..........RUN !!! If possible I would rate it as a -10 (minus ten).

Satisfied

I have had this washer since November and have already had my first exchange due to the electronic board. The machine would continue to wash clothes after it was finished. Soon as the last cycle was complete within 3 minutes it would start all over and wash the clothes again. They have replaced it and I am happy. Sears has always backed their products. Fortunately I have the service contract so if it goes out again I will just call them and report the problem.

Good

This is a good washer. I haven't had any problems with it so far. It was a breeze to install so if your looking to install your self it's a good choice. My only problem is it does not have a timer and it seems to take longer to wash then my older model.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
