Kenmore 3.6 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer - Convenient and Efficient
This efficient Kenmore 3.6 cu. ft. top-load washer 2210 features an exclusive Triple Action agitator that provides motion in three directions. While the base moves back and forth, the post moves up and down and clockwise. This provides more cleaning action to ensure your laundry is washed perfectly. With an impressive 12 cycles, including Bulky, Delicates and Deep Wash, this machine allows you to choose the best cycle for each specific load. A second rinse option ensures any leftover residue is removed, and the 700 RPM spin cycle helps extract water from clothes. Get cleaner clothes using less water and less energy with this Kenmore top-load washer.
- Combining wash basket motion, impeller rotation and a burst of concentrated detergent, the Triple Action® impeller deep cleans fabrics while using less water.
- A small footprint makes this washer an easy fit for apartments, basements and starter homes, while powerful performance delivers the same clean you’d expect from larger machines.
- Multiple wash cycles give your hardy work clothes, delicate linens, and stained fabrics the treatment they need to look their best.
- Rapid spin speeds squeeze excess water from clothes, linens and more for faster, easier transfer to your dryer and shorter dry times.

The main problem is the way it wrinkles the clothes so horribly that you can't iron out the wrinkles -- no matter how much time you spend. I called Sears and was transferred to four different people. I was finally told that this is normal for their washing machines. Other problems are all the loud, strange noises, locking lid, etc., that were mentioned in other reviews. I would never buy another washer from Sears. I will donate this one to the Salvation Army when I can afford to buy another washer because it is ruining my clothes.
I bought this machine about 6 months ago and am very pleased with the cleanliness of the clothes, efficiency, and all the different cycle options, etc. The BIG problem- I wish I had read about this before I bought it- is that you have no control over the machine during any cycles. Once the machine locks, you can only stop the cycle and unlock the machine. After 5 minutes with the machine stopped, the tub drains unless you unplug it. I rely on my washing machine to wash many sweaters, wool items, and even shower curtains. I can't do that any more because I can't load the machine with water to my desired level, let the stuff soak for awhile, and then drain and spin to my liking. The machine controls everything! I have kind-of, sort-of figured out how to make this work by unplugging the machine at various times in this process and there is a drain/spin setting, but the machine seems confused at this point. What used to take me 2 minutes is now a 20 minute ordeal.
I just bought this washer a week or two ago and so far it seems ok. I had a Kenmore Elite HE top washer and it didn't last 5 years so I decided to go with the more old fashion kind without all the bells and whistles. So far my clothes are clean and smell great when they come out. The only thing I don't like is it is not very quiet in the beginning. It does warn you about this in the manual. Lots of clicks and spins the first couple of minutes. I would not recommend this for an apartment where your neighbors can hear good. I do like the fact that you can pick deep wash in case I want more water. Overall, it seems like a good washer so far.
I just bought the washer Nov 16 and had my doubts at first but I bought it, and guess what I freaking love it ,it's quiet and it can hold a good amount of clothes, yes the sensing issue takes a little time but it leaves the clothes smelling good and very clean also it leaves the clothes almost dry after final spin . So it only takes about 20 to dry on a full load, I love this machine .
top notch workmanship lightning fast delivery superb customer service unsurpassed warranty unbeatable price i even like the colour mine dont say better with that cool splashing water moral but its ok
This machine is noisy. Sounds like the drum is hitting the side of the machine. Shakes violently. My old washer of 20 years sounded better than this new one. I am returning it. I thought Sears products were better than this. I bought 4 major appliances and am exchanging one and returning 2. Shame on me for trusting Sears.
Great size washer that has a full size agitator. It is invented to save water, and the machine balances your load, and locks the lid. A great investment. No complaints.
