This refrigerator also includes crisper bins, ideal for keeping produce fresh. In the freezer, you'll find in-door storage and several shelves, plus a pull-out bin. Complete with spill-proof shelves and LED lighting, this 25.2 cu. ft. side-by-side refrigerator provides flexible food storage options.

- Gallon door bins easily hold jugs, bottles and gallon containers to help clear the shelves and give you space to stock up.
- Spill-proof tempered glass shelves keep drips, drizzles and spills from spreading throughout the fridge, making cleanup fast and easy.
- Diamond LED lighting uses less space than incandescents while delivering the bright illumination you need.

Our old refrigerator was 25 years old, noisy, water and ice build up in bottom freezer, etc. This new one just has a gentle hum. Have to listen to hear if it is going! Also, with all the clear shelves and drawers, it is so easy to see if anything is needed at the store without even opening the drawers. No outside coils in the back to dust, everything is enclosed. No tray on the bottom to empty, it evaporates. Door shelves are very roomy. Inside shelves are made so items cannot be pushed all the way back to stop air flow. Love the stainless steel look that is so shiny and easy to wipe down. So happy we got this new refrigerator.

I have had this refrigerator for a few months now. I LOVE it! It seems to be one of the few, if not, only side by side models that does not have an ice maker. I didn't want one as they take up too much room. This fridge has plenty of space. And I got it at a great price!

Just a quick preliminary review. The appliance was first plugged in less than an hour ago, so we're waiting for the cooldown... wiping things off, removing tape and packaging, etc. For the folks mentioning the omission of 1 fridge shelf: If you move the "deli drawer" UP one slot (and the remaining shelves up), you do end up with 4 shelves. (Plus, the deli drawer, plus the two crispers/bins.) Moving the deli drawer up allows the top of the upper crisper to be used as a shelf! Problem solved! I do think that 1 extra door shelf would be nice. I'll be ordering one of those, definitely. And maybe an extra freezer wire shelf... but that remains to be seen. I can't wait to load 'er up! :)

This refrigerator is a rebadge of the Whirlpool WRS325FNAM. I bought this refrigerator to replace a 30 year old GE top freezer refrigerator that was still working, but I wanted the energy savings and lower noise. I also didn't want a water/ice dispenser taking up valuable freezer space, and this model was the largest of the kind that would fit thru my kitchen door. After a month, I'm pleased at the drop in my electricity bill. But this refrigerator is noisy - it's actually noticeably louder than the 30yr old GE fridge that it replaced. I'm surprised at some reviews that say "this model is so quiet you don't know it's running" - they either have background noise drowning this fridge out, their hearing isn't that sensitive, or there is a lot of variability in noise from unit to unit that accounts for reviews saying this model is both quiet and loud. My unit was Made In Mexico, March 2014 (same month it was delivered). I'll echo the other reviews that say the shelves are weak and have a cheaper feel to them. So I've been more careful with them than with my old GE fridge (i.e. "they don't make them like they used to."). As a side note, the equivalent Whirlpool model has different design plastic bins that go into the refrigerator door than the Kenmore - the Kenmore is clear plastic while the Whirlpool has white trim and a frosted design on the bottom. Both Whirlpool demo units I saw in-store already had cracks on the bottom of the plastic bins, so I'm hoping the Kenmore design is slightly stronger. The freezer temp control **** had a clunky feel to it, and when I looked more into it, it turns out all it does is mechanically control a small vent between the freezer and refrigerator sides. So basically, you lower the freezer temp by opening the vent more. I can see the vent closing and opening when I turn the ****, and it is pretty inaccurate...depending on how you turn the ****, the vent will be open a different amount on the same **** setting. The stainless steel doors aren't the smudge-proof kind, so keep in mind that fingerprints will be harder to wipe off. Magnets do stick to them, despite the salesman saying otherwise. I like the LED lighting...has gradual-on effect and is bright. Would've liked one more light on the freezer side, but then again, my old GE fridge didn't have any light in the freezer. The LEDs aren't user-replaceable, but barring premature failure, should last the life of the fridge. Overall, I'm pleased with the look and energy savings of the unit. If it lasts long enough to pay for itself, I'll be happy.
