Not perfect, but a great refrigerator for this price point.
We bought this refrigerator because our old Kenmore was 15 years old and we wanted to delegate it as a garage refrigerator while while we transition our kitchen to stainless. This has a real stainless front as magnets will not adhere to it. The grey sides are regular steel however. We got this for a price we could not pass up and it was on Consumer Reports list as a good choice. It's quiet, looks nice and has more space than most refrigerators in this category due to the fact that the ice maker is NOT in the door. It's in the freezer (where it belongs) and takes up very little space. Old-school perhaps, but easy to replace and will likely keep this fridge trouble free. The fewer electronic boards on appliances the better IMHO. The doors are harder to close than standard refrigerators but thankfully it has an alarm that beeps after 30 seconds as a friendly reminder. It also helps me know when the kids are just standing there staring into it's vastness pondering what to eat. The only other issue is that refrigerator door shelves don't offer as much adjustability as the could. We have a ton of condiments and it was a chore figuring out how to fit them all in. Sometimes pulling them in and out is tight too. A gallon of milk fits but it was such a struggle we delegated it to the top shelf instead. I really like the freezer on the bottom since we access the fridge more often, we never have to bend over to find things. The other benefit to this new eye level convenience is that we're more like to use our leftovers simply because we can see they are in there. I can't tell you how many times we've found foot tucked away in the depths of our standard fridge simply because it was blocked from view! Overall, this is a good refrigerator especially for what we paid for a model like this. We've had for about 6 months and my wife really likes it too. Which quite frankly matters most!

Beware of design problem
We've had the refrigerator almost two years now. We really like the bottom freezer with its easily accessible space. It is also very efficient - our electric bills dropped ~10% when we replaced our 18 yr. old model. However, you should be aware of a problem with the french doors on the refrigerator section. In the gasket at the top of each door there is a small plastic hook that helps keep the door closed. The problem is one of those hooks broke off after about 18 months. The repair necessitated replacing the entire door gasket at a cost of $125. The repairman indicated this is a common problem (my sister's similar model had the same issue) that could be avoided by opening or closing the french doors one at a time. Evidently when they are opened/closed together there is not enough room for both hooks to swing free so the plastic gets stressed and eventually breaks. It would have been nice to know this when we bought the refrigerator, so we could avoid the problem in the first place. I'm confident that we can prevent a recurring problem, but knowing what I do now, I'd probably choose a model with a different style door gasket in the first place.

So glad we purchased this!

We looked at **********, ***** and ******** before purchasing this model. This one had everything I wanted at a great price - no ice in door, led lighting, French doors, adjustable shelves and lots of room. I love the "Deli Drawer" and the space that this fridge has. I read reviews that say that it is noisy or that it runs a lot. We have NOT found this to be true. Ours is very quiet, and I rarely am even aware that it is running. There is lots of room inside, and with the double doors and the bins on the doors, it is SO easy to organize everything so that you can actually SEE what you have. And now that we can see leftovers (because they don't get shoved into a black hole at the back) we are not wasting food! The bottom freezer is great too - plenty of room. We have a stand alone ice maker, so we did not install the ice maker in our fridge. It is not as easy to organize as the fridge, but we use the freezer much less anyway, so I don't mind that. The little compartment on the door of the freezer is nice so that small items don't get lost. And one of my favorite things is the LED lights - it is SO bright inside that you can easily tell what you have and where it is. I LOVE this Refrigerator! The sales people at the Sears in Mesquite were awesome - very helpful and seemed as if they wanted us to get what we wanted - they didn't mind that I bounced back and forth between three models for quite awhile before I made up my mind! Delivery was right on time, and the delivery men were great as well. Love my fridge, Love Sears and just happy with my selection!

So much room

I haven't had this refrigerator very long but so far I love it. It has so much room that I had trouble deciding what to put where. I love the slide out shelves. The freezer is very roomy. I don't have the ice maker hooked up yet so can't comment on that feature. If it is as good as everything else then it will be awesome too.

Great so far

It's just what I was looking for. Color I wanted was available and size I wanted was available. The refrigerator was too large to get in my house (due to a pull screen door on the front door, but the delivery person made it work by going to the extra trouble of taking off the three front doors, Delivery was exceptional! Earlier than expected and the delivery person was very helpful and courteous. All the storage spaces are so convenient and are keeping all the food at the temperatures promised in the user manual. The refrigerator cooled to the ideal temperature much sooner than expected. Had ice cubes and freezer stocked in just a few hours. Great buy! I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking for a great buy and a great refrigerator.

Nice, large refrigerator

We have had this refrigerator for only about two weeks, but so far we like it. It holds a lot and has easy accessibility. The freezer drawer is large and holds a lot more than I thought it would. It runs quietly, which we like. The temperature seems to be steady.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Best fridge ever!

Perfect in every way! The amount of space in both the fridge and freezer is remarkable. The led lighting is fantastic. The extra drawer is very convenient, and the two crisper drawers hold a lot! I love that you can see everything when you open the doors.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

So Impressed

First off, this fridge is huge. I bought the Kenmore 25.0 cu. ft. French Door Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator in black, and pictures don't lie. It's an impressive appliance that is rated vey high with ConsumerReports. The pull-out bottom freezer offers 7.5 cu. ft. Beyond being a sturdy and spacious appliance, it is energy efficient, running at an expected cost of $51 a year. Now that's impressive! My only issue is that it does hold fingerprints.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
