Not perfect, but a great refrigerator for this price point.
We bought this refrigerator because our old Kenmore was 15 years old and we wanted to delegate it as a garage refrigerator while while we transition our kitchen to stainless. This has a real stainless front as magnets will not adhere to it. The grey sides are regular steel however. We got this for a price we could not pass up and it was on Consumer Reports list as a good choice. It's quiet, looks nice and has more space than most refrigerators in this category due to the fact that the ice maker is NOT in the door. It's in the freezer (where it belongs) and takes up very little space. Old-school perhaps, but easy to replace and will likely keep this fridge trouble free. The fewer electronic boards on appliances the better IMHO. The doors are harder to close than standard refrigerators but thankfully it has an alarm that beeps after 30 seconds as a friendly reminder. It also helps me know when the kids are just standing there staring into it's vastness pondering what to eat. The only other issue is that refrigerator door shelves don't offer as much adjustability as the could. We have a ton of condiments and it was a chore figuring out how to fit them all in. Sometimes pulling them in and out is tight too. A gallon of milk fits but it was such a struggle we delegated it to the top shelf instead. I really like the freezer on the bottom since we access the fridge more often, we never have to bend over to find things. The other benefit to this new eye level convenience is that we're more like to use our leftovers simply because we can see they are in there. I can't tell you how many times we've found foot tucked away in the depths of our standard fridge simply because it was blocked from view! Overall, this is a good refrigerator especially for what we paid for a model like this. We've had for about 6 months and my wife really likes it too. Which quite frankly matters most!

Beware of design problem
We've had the refrigerator almost two years now. We really like the bottom freezer with its easily accessible space. It is also very efficient - our electric bills dropped ~10% when we replaced our 18 yr. old model. However, you should be aware of a problem with the french doors on the refrigerator section. In the gasket at the top of each door there is a small plastic hook that helps keep the door closed. The problem is one of those hooks broke off after about 18 months. The repair necessitated replacing the entire door gasket at a cost of $125. The repairman indicated this is a common problem (my sister's similar model had the same issue) that could be avoided by opening or closing the french doors one at a time. Evidently when they are opened/closed together there is not enough room for both hooks to swing free so the plastic gets stressed and eventually breaks. It would have been nice to know this when we bought the refrigerator, so we could avoid the problem in the first place. I'm confident that we can prevent a recurring problem, but knowing what I do now, I'd probably choose a model with a different style door gasket in the first place.

Shop at Sears for All Your Needs!

I do love my new fridge. It is really attractive and makes my kitchen look great! We really needed a new fridge. We had gone in like a week before we actually made a purchase. We had a great salesman, Grant, who was very knowledgeable about the appliance. He showed us the different warranty options available. We are very happy we went to Sears, since this is the only place we buy our dishwasher, washer, dryer, electric range and shop the auto center for tires and the tools department. We have several flat screen tvs also from Sears. Thanks, Grant, for making buying our fridge a breeze!

Very Nice

Kenmore Refrigerator, Model 795.71603.014, 25 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel, French Door-Bottom Freezer; purchased 27 October 2014; delivered 19 November 2014. I did not find a small plastic hook in the gasket at the top of each door that would break as noted by another individual. I did not find anything in the doors that could possibly break but found them to be solid, easy to open/close and they have a tight seal. My sales person verified this model is manufactured by LG and has the LG Linear compressor. The LG compressor was a big plus for me since it has fewer moving parts, is more efficient and is very quiet. I love the LED lighting and I found it to have plenty of room for my needs. Yes, you do have to move one of the top shelves down to the 6th slot in order to accommodate half gallon containers which I didn't consider a big deal. I have 4 half gallon glass milk bottles with pour spouts that are 11.5 inches in height and a gallon of maple syrup all on one of the top shelves and I still have plenty of room left on that shelf for 5 more half gallon milk containers or for other things. I found one compartment on the left door to have plenty of room for a half gallon container and 4 quart containers with lots of room left in the other 3 compartments. I did remove the dairy/butter holder in the right door since I do not have a need for it and it did take up space so I was unable to use the other compartments on that side to store any large bottles; i.e., ketchup, mayonnaise. It is much roomier with that dairy/butter holder gone. The crisper on the right will only open about half way with the left door closed but it still provides you ample room to retrieve turnips, parsnips, brussel sprouts, bag of carrots with the left door closed. You will have to open the left door to fully open this crisper in order to retrieve larger items like a bunch of celery or any vegetable which is long in length. The freezer has plenty of room and I especially like the small collapsible shelf attached to the inside top of the freezer drawer. I do not use the ice cube maker and that provides me with even more storage space. Cons: The refrigerator temperature display does not alternately show the current temperature of the refrigerator or the freezer, instead it constantly shows the refrigerator and freezer selected temperature settings. Would be a great feature to have so you could monitor your actual temperatures. The refrigerator does not have a temperature alarm which would warn you if the freezer or refrigerator temperature exceed normal operating temperatures. The small bottom compartment on the left door cannot be exchanged with another compartment. If you do so you not be able to close the the door since the other compartments are bigger and hit the top of the freezer drawer.

So much room

I haven't had this refrigerator very long but so far I love it. It has so much room that I had trouble deciding what to put where. I love the slide out shelves. The freezer is very roomy. I don't have the ice maker hooked up yet so can't comment on that feature. If it is as good as everything else then it will be awesome too.

Excellent value and quality

We like the dual french door design - easy to open and close. I read one review which warned (reliability-wise) about the tab which rachetes to close the door (e.g. to close one door before the other otherwise breakage) - but this design seems rock solid robust. Great design. Quiet operation. Great upgrade from our previous 17 yr old Whirlpool fridge.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Spacious, spacious, spacious!

Love this frig so far -- very easy to organize and see all items inside. Also really like the small cube size for the ice maker. We have only had this for a month so cannot comment on quality, durability etc.

Overall
nice, but room not as big as my other 25 cu.ft.

Kind of had to purchase this particular model, because I wanted bisque color, did not want ice/water feature and wanted large refrigerator. Many features are an improvement: the bottom drawer is better designed but limited on space (especially depth) and the bottom freezer bin has almost solid bottom so things can't fall to back of freezer, top freezer bin limited on space.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
