Not perfect, but a great refrigerator for this price point.
We bought this refrigerator because our old Kenmore was 15 years old and we wanted to delegate it as a garage refrigerator while while we transition our kitchen to stainless. This has a real stainless front as magnets will not adhere to it. The grey sides are regular steel however. We got this for a price we could not pass up and it was on Consumer Reports list as a good choice. It's quiet, looks nice and has more space than most refrigerators in this category due to the fact that the ice maker is NOT in the door. It's in the freezer (where it belongs) and takes up very little space. Old-school perhaps, but easy to replace and will likely keep this fridge trouble free. The fewer electronic boards on appliances the better IMHO. The doors are harder to close than standard refrigerators but thankfully it has an alarm that beeps after 30 seconds as a friendly reminder. It also helps me know when the kids are just standing there staring into it's vastness pondering what to eat. The only other issue is that refrigerator door shelves don't offer as much adjustability as the could. We have a ton of condiments and it was a chore figuring out how to fit them all in. Sometimes pulling them in and out is tight too. A gallon of milk fits but it was such a struggle we delegated it to the top shelf instead. I really like the freezer on the bottom since we access the fridge more often, we never have to bend over to find things. The other benefit to this new eye level convenience is that we're more like to use our leftovers simply because we can see they are in there. I can't tell you how many times we've found foot tucked away in the depths of our standard fridge simply because it was blocked from view! Overall, this is a good refrigerator especially for what we paid for a model like this. We've had for about 6 months and my wife really likes it too. Which quite frankly matters most!

Beware of design problem
We've had the refrigerator almost two years now. We really like the bottom freezer with its easily accessible space. It is also very efficient - our electric bills dropped ~10% when we replaced our 18 yr. old model. However, you should be aware of a problem with the french doors on the refrigerator section. In the gasket at the top of each door there is a small plastic hook that helps keep the door closed. The problem is one of those hooks broke off after about 18 months. The repair necessitated replacing the entire door gasket at a cost of $125. The repairman indicated this is a common problem (my sister's similar model had the same issue) that could be avoided by opening or closing the french doors one at a time. Evidently when they are opened/closed together there is not enough room for both hooks to swing free so the plastic gets stressed and eventually breaks. It would have been nice to know this when we bought the refrigerator, so we could avoid the problem in the first place. I'm confident that we can prevent a recurring problem, but knowing what I do now, I'd probably choose a model with a different style door gasket in the first place.

Excellent value and quality

We like the dual french door design - easy to open and close. I read one review which warned (reliability-wise) about the tab which rachetes to close the door (e.g. to close one door before the other otherwise breakage) - but this design seems rock solid robust. Great design. Quiet operation. Great upgrade from our previous 17 yr old Whirlpool fridge.

Great sales rep

This is an awesome fridge. Works very well, quiet, and fits nicely in the kitchen. There is ample room top and bottom. The ice tray is in the freezer and works well.

Spacious, spacious, spacious!

Love this frig so far -- very easy to organize and see all items inside. Also really like the small cube size for the ice maker. We have only had this for a month so cannot comment on quality, durability etc.

Overall
nice, but room not as big as my other 25 cu.ft.

Kind of had to purchase this particular model, because I wanted bisque color, did not want ice/water feature and wanted large refrigerator. Many features are an improvement: the bottom drawer is better designed but limited on space (especially depth) and the bottom freezer bin has almost solid bottom so things can't fall to back of freezer, top freezer bin limited on space.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Early Assessment

Our refrigerator was installed just a few days ago. My initial opinion is that there is a lot of room in the unit, BUT, it isn't well utilized. There is not a lot of flexibility in adjusting the door bins. While there is room enough in the doors for condiments galore, there is no way to store a wine bottle or a 2 liter soda bottle without removing one of the bins. Same holds true for the inside of refrigerator. I had to stagger the top and middle shelves to accommodate taller items, but wine bottles are lying on their side; not optimal for a re-corked wine bottle. Every door bin also has an open slot which I am assuming is for air flow. I just hope that something in the top bin doesn't spill because it will find its way to each lower bin and the floor of the refrigerator. The compressor also runs a lot. While the manual mentions frequent running, it doesn't say how much. It seems constant although I am certain that it isn't always running. The freezer is deep with a lot of room, but like a chest freezer, it is easy to lose items in it. I still haven't decided if I am pleased or sorry that I went to french door from side by side. I will say that not bending down for produce is already nice. And the deli drawer is perfect for storing 5 oz cups of yogurt which we eat a lot of.
