Kenmore 24" Built-In Dishwasher - Powerful Cleaning
Combining powerful cleaning with a gentle touch, the Kenmore 24" built-in dishwasher 1329 tackles the toughest grease and baked-on foods while being a safe and gentle way to wash your fine china and crystal glassware. The SmartWash HE Cycle helps save water and energy as it automatically adjusts output for each load, as the Kenmore UltraWash HE filter keeps food particles from interfering with continuous cycles. The stainless-steel tub on this built-in dishwasher traps in heat for more efficient drying and is resistant to mold and stains.
- The ENERGY STAR® qualified UltraWash HE System uses up to 40% less electricity and 68% less water than some dishwashers, for a powerful clean that uses fewer resources.
- The UltraWash® HE Filter traps food particles and keeps them from re-entering the dishwasher, so water is cleaner and dishes shine bright.
- The SmartWash™ HE Cycle automatically adjusts water and energy use to the load size and degree of cleaning needed, helping save valuable resources.
- The China Gentle cycle washes your finest crystal and most delicate plates with a gentle touch, so you don't have to worry or wash them by hand when it's time to clean up.
- Built to resist stains, shrug-off corrosion and increase heat retention for improved drying performance, the stainless steel tub delivers service that shines.
- Cut down on hand-cleaning pots and pans by quickly raising, lowering or removing this adjustable upper rack, so there's always plenty of room for those larger items.

Needed a dish washer since the one it replaced was not working. Bought this particular one due to the amenities it had. It' quiet and does an excellent job. Couldn't ask for anything better.
It is so quiet. Some of the cycles that it has are very different than what I prior had but just love it. It has stainless steel inside and that is nice as well. Love the racks in the top and bottom.

I HATE doing dishes. Hate's a strong word. But, I hate doing dishes with a bloody passion. Worst chore in the house in my opinion. But, this dishwasher makes it not so bad. I don't stress about how many dishes I can fit into it before I have to start hand washing and I don't worry about my kids doing dishes. This dishwasher is the roomiest dishwasher I've ever owned. I can fit dishes from breakfast and dinner into this thing for one wash. It's also the quietest dishwasher I've ever owned. My kids (teenagers) have to do dishes on their chore night and I'm not afraid of what I'm going to find stuck to the bottom of a glass or frying pan because they didn't rinse them well enough before putting them in the racks. Every dishwasher I've ever owned, up to this one, has always had the handle that you'd have to push in to pull open the dishwasher. Almost every one of those broke. This dishwasher appealed to me because of the handle on the outside of it. The handle on the door is great because I'm not afraid of it breaking and it gives me another place to hang another dish towel! It's the small things, what can I say? The controls are on top, and even though our counter top hides the buttons, it hasn't made a difference because when you open the door you can select whatever wash you need.

There is a basic flaw in the design. Rack adjustment to the railing keeping on breaking. Once the adjustment breaks upper level rack hangs /falls off from one side. Because of that the dishes in upper level rack do not get clean. Since we bought this dishwasher in 2013. The adjustment has broken 5 times. Sears has send a repair man each time. They have fix the issue for this to happen again. They have replace the entire railing and all the racks last time. It lasted us 3 hours. Based on the protection plan they are supposed to replace the dishwater if the same problem happens 4 times. They not replace our dishwasher so far. If I could give negative stars I would have given that to this dishwasher.

Best appliance I've ever bought! The stainless steel tub seems to wash better than my old plastic one, and doesn't show all the dirt/grime my other did either. My husband and I have had to check several times to see if the dishwasher is even running...because it's SO quiet! You can barely hear it. I love the adjustable dish racks...makes putting large bowls and tall cups in so much easier (we used to have to hand wash those as they wouldn't fit in the dishwasher). Holds many more dishes than our old one too. Honestly can't think of anything negative about this product. HIGHLY recommend!
I love this dishwasher! I have not figured everything out yet, but so far, I am very pleased! It is so much quieter than my old dishwasher, it cleans my dishes better and is much more efficient. I would recommend this product.
My wife and I remodeled our kitchen recently and after a great deal of research, online, in store, and consumer reports, we decided to go with this line of Kenmore appliances. We could not be happier with the performance and easy of installation of this dishwasher. Dishes come out very clean, even if put in with stuck on dirty food, and it is whisper quiet. Much quieter than our old dishwasher, and it was a late 90's model. The only thing we didn't like was that the stainless shows fingerprints badly...but with a little magic stainless cleaner/fingerprint preventer, problem solved.

I did a lot of research before buying this dishwasher. We are preparing our home for sale and wanted to put all new appliances in. So I purchased all Kenmore...fridge, stove and dishwasher. I assumed that because it had so many stars that it would be a good one. Within 6 months of using it the plastic parts that are molded to hold the wheels on to the top rack (see part number in headline) began to break off. Eventually they all broke off which means that I can't use my top rack as it won't stay on the tracks without the wheels and the wheels won't stay on without the plastic pieces that snap into them. (By the way, I am out of warranty by only a few days but that didn't matter). I can order the parts (I will need two of them) for $81 plus shipping and tax. Or Sears gave me the option of buying a 1 year extended warranty for $217.29. I wanted someone with Sears to answer this question... "If this part is defective and it seems that everyone I talked to in the industry (6 people) knows it, why hasn't the problem been addressed?" Why do they just keep saying that it is either under warranty or it's not, and that's the only answer I get. Why don't they change the design???? Little tiny plastic pieces won't and don't hold up the whole top rack without eventually cracking and breaking off. But this design is used on most of the Kenmore dishwashers. My advice is don't buy it if it uses this plastic top rack adjuster to hold the wheels on the track....bad design. Or make sure you buy the extended warranty and when that warranty runs out, well, good luck!
