We love Kenmore!!!!
We hadn't purchase a Kenmore appliance in several years. I forgot how dependable they were and the style is so sleek and up to date. Thank you for bringing us a great product!

Poor Dishwasher
We purchased this dishwasher because the reviews and our belief is that they manufacture produced good products. We had a previous Kenmore dishwasher that was 30 years old and performed extremely well. This dishwasher does not clean well and constantly leaves dishes wet after the drying cycle. It cannot clean off basic particles from dishes or silverware. This product was not worth the money that we paid for it and I would love and most likely will have to replace soon.

Wonderful Dishwasher

We've had ours for about 5 months. Cleans and dries great. When we use smart wash with a large load we run it at night. We have been using 1 hour wash quite a bit and it does a great job. Give it try. I sell home appliances for Sears in GR, Mi. and I would highly recommend this dishwasher to friends, relatives, neighbors, etc.

A Great Dishwasher!

After much research on all brands of dishwashers, both online and in-store, we decided on this Kenmore model. The features, price and looks made for a perfect match in our kitchen! We have been extremely happy with the performance of the machine, and would highly recommend this model. It cleans well, and following manufacturers recommendations of beginning with hot water in the facet, and using a granulated detergent, we have had no problems with it cleaning off dried, hard foods. Using the "Turbo Dry" cycle, our dishes come out spotless and dry. The only flaw we have found, is that the door handle mechanism seems to be rather cheaply made, and might break easily over time. So far, it has been ok, but we have only had the machine since late November?

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great machine

We had to replace our 21 year old Maytag and I wanted one of the higher end machines with a third rack. However, consumer reports reviews were very ambiguous. We didn't want to spend so much money and possibly get a lemon. Soooooo, we went to Sears and bought this machine. It is great! Quiet cleaning and we like the time remaining display feature and the turbo for dried on food. This was a good value and was on sale, which we liked even better. Very satisfied with this machine. We also have a 10 year old Sears dishwasher and it's still doing a great job as well; so we'll see you in another ten years to replace it! (Yes, I know, we have two dishwashers - long story, but my husband wanted an extra one for family gatherings, so we alternate using the two machines and both are doing a great job!) .

I would recommend this product to a friend.

1 hour wash cycle is the best!!!

We purchased the dishwasher because we were looking for a dishwasher with a heated drying cycle. I like the racks, I can load the dishes like I want. The regular cycle is 3 hours. Does a great job but I've found the quick wash is enough to wash a big load and get them clean. This dishwasher was not the cheapest but our Sears associate helped us with interest free finance for 3 years. We are so pleased with Sears. We've not made any big purchases in over 10 years. We've been shopping at "home improvement" stores and replacing items way too soon and getting terrible customer service. I'm glad to be shopping Sears again.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Quiet -

We bought this dishwasher at the store and must admit, it is very quiet. As far as 'does it clean better than our 10 year old portable Kenmore?' The answer is NO it does not not even on 'pots & pans' cycle. The ten year old Kenmore cleaned much better. I could take the scraped, but not rinsed dishes, and put them right in my old DW and run it on the normal wash cycle and never had a dirty dish or pan at the end. Never even had to use the 'pots & pans' cycle on the old DW. Alas, I've since sold my old DW since we just remodeled our kitchen. This new DW takes 2-3 times longer too, I might add. Recommend you buy a cheaper model because price doesn't matter.

Overall
Gets the dishes amazingly clean. Drying needs some help.

I bought this dishwasher online 3 weeks ago and had I shipped directly to the house. I had it installed in about 2 hours including the time it took to remove the old one. I run 2 loads a day on most days. A small to medium load that is not very dirty just after lunch, which I use the one hour wash and turbo dry option. This works fine although there is a little water left on items where they are in contact with the rack. Plastics are not too dry either but that is to be expected. The second load of the day I run either a Smart wash cycle, normal wash, or pots and pans with turbo wash option depending on how dirty and baked on some things are. All with the turbo dry option. The wash cycles can be a bit long which requires some pre-planning and good timing, but so far everything I have thrown at it has come out clean and sparkling. 99% of the time it is running it is incredibly quiet. The other 1% of the time it can make some pretty strange noises while it is filling, purging, sensing or whatever it is doing other than washing. The first load I ran through it, it made several weird noises. One I thought was a helicopter flying over the house and another that sounded like a freight train braking. I soon discovered them to actually be the dishwasher. These noises have gotten quieter the more I run it and they only occur about 1% of the time it is running or less, so no big deal. There is only one problem I have found. The turbo dry fan does not move enough air through the machine to really dry anything. I have tried several times to even let the fan run until it shuts off, well after the completed light has illuminated indicating the cycle is done. To actually get things dry, I have to open the door within a few minutes of it completing the final rinse and beginning a drying cycle and let a large amount of steam out. Then I close the door and let it resume heated drying . I then wait about 15 minutes or until about the half way point through the drying cycle and open the door again for a minute to let a lot of steam escape, then close the door and let it finish by itself. Then I can take the dishes all out dry. But the ducted fan alone will not do it. Except for it being weak in the drying cycle it is a good machine and cleans great. I bought it at the black Friday sale price along with a 5 year service plan so I have no major complaints. I feel I got my moneys worth and would recommend it. Cleans great, dries mediocre.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Product

I am an aerospace engineer and research virtually everything I buy. When our 10 year old KitchenAid dishwasher broke down I looked at consumer reviews and features that I wanted. This one has it all. It also is very quiet. The heating coil assures that everything is dry at the end of the cycle. It has more than enough wash cycles and I even like the countdown timer to tell you how much longer the cycle has to run. Best of all I got it on sale. My wife loves it.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
