This Kenmore 24" built-In dishwasher 1325 is equipped with a pressurized spray nozzle that aggressively yet gently tackles grease and stains. The energy-efficient UltraWash HE Wash System uses water effectively, and the SmartWash HE cycle gives you more control without wasting a drop. During the wash cycle, the UltraWash HE Filter traps food particles to guarantee optimal performance. The rinse aid dispenser ensures reduced streaks and spots. This Kenmore dishwasher features an attractive stainless steel tub for improved drying that makes your glasses and dishes sparkling clean.
- The ENERGY STAR® qualified UltraWash HE System uses up to 40% less electricity and 68% less water than some dishwashers, for a powerful clean that uses fewer resources.
- The UltraWash® HE Filter traps food particles and keeps them from re-entering the dishwasher, so water is cleaner and dishes shine bright.
- The SmartWash™ HE Cycle automatically adjusts water and energy use to the load size and degree of cleaning needed, helping save valuable resources.
- With Delay Start, you can load the dishwasher, select the right cycle and delay the wash until you're ready.
- Nylon-coated dish racks don't scratch or scrape delicate stemware or china, and they'll stand up to years of use and support the heaviest pots and pans.

I liked the dishwasher for the first two years. Then one evening, the pump fell off on the outlet side and flooded the kitchen. The water ran down between the floor joists and unto the ceiling of the finished basement, and ran out of the light fixtures!
I pulled the dishwasher to find that the hose clamps between the pump and dishwasher are crimp style, and cannot be tightened further. To make matters worse, the pump is suspended from a tiny rubber dumb-bell, presumably for quiet operation. The problem with this is the attachment is designed incorrectly, and it falls out, allowing the pump to be only supported by the inlet and outlet hoses, which as I said, cannot be tightened. Over time, due to the pump starting and stopping, it apparently can work loose. In my case, it pumped water all over the wood kitchen floors and into the ceiling of a finished basement. Thank goodness we only run the diswasher when we are at home. Even so, it caused a lot of damage before my wife caught it.
I fixed it by wiring the pump into position so it did not have to rely on the little rubber dumbell to support the pump assembly. Terrible design, and potentially, all of these could work themselves off over time and cause significant damage. The worst part, is that 15 cents worth of wire can fix the problem, but how many people will know to do that? My wife was ready to call sears and have a new dishwasher delivered. Nothing wrong with this one other than cheap/poor design on Kenmore's part. Makes me wonder what will break next. I'd never buy another Kenmore product, and would suggest you never leave home with the dishwasher running.
I'm a big fan of Kenmore products and when my piece of junk Frigidaire dishwasher wasn't working right, if ever, I replaced it with this unit. The install was very easy. I really like the stainless steel tub, it looks so much nicer and is more durable too. There is a ton of room to put dishes in and plenty of room for utensils. I like how the top rack does not have the sprayer in the middle like the old ones. There is so much room that sometimes I run out of dishes and it still isn't full. This unit is extremely quiet and cleans fairly well, I have only used "smart wash" so far, it takes a few hours but apparently uses very little water or power. There is a one hour option on there, plus a 4 hour delay option which is great for the hot summer days when you want the dishwasher to run later in the night. I have been very happy with this product.
Silence. Turned it on for the first time and heard nothing. Figured there was something wrong with the machine or we had done something wrong. Did not open the machine until the next morning. The dishes were spotless. Love this dishwasher.

On the good side, it is very nice looking, water conserving and incredibly quiet. The tub seems to be built lower to give more space to the upper rack. I use a lot of insulated mugs and they fit on the top rack for the first time. All my plastic ware stays in place and doesn't get upended and filled with dirty water on the upper rack. The filter is located near the front for easy reach. Despite 2-hour wash cycles, it is energy and water efficient. However, the door is so tight, my husband who is disabled can't open it. The silverware rack comes with some kind of utensil separator, which is difficult to load and unload because you have to touch the eating surface to unload it. Only my spoons and forks fit anyway. I no longer use it. The spray nozzles don't hit the long, tall cooking spoons because they are blocked by the other plates and bowls, so little spray gets on them to clean them. Because it is so water efficient, I don't know if any hot water is used in the wash cycle. When I use the Smart Wash and Normal wash cycles my glasses have a wonderful mist on them (even with heated dry setting), so I have to towel dry everything on the top rack especially if it is glass. These two cycles can take up to 2 hours to clean your dishes. Unfortunately I only use it every other day or so, it took me a while to try out the different cycles and with food sitting there, that could contribute to the dishes not getting completely clean. But even "fresh" dirty dishes don't always get clean. Now that I have given it this test-"wash", the return period is long gone and I am now stuck with a dishwasher that I will have to maybe half-load to start washing everyday to maybe get my dishes cleaner. Next time I will look at reviews BEFORE going to the store so I will have a better idea what to look at and make a better decision.
This is a beautiful dishwasher and it really works very well. The only thing I have a slight issue with is how stiff the door is to open and close.
Very Quiet, quick to sell and install. However, the top rack keeps falling out because there is only a small plastic tab holding it in place and it is to thin and flexible to do the job. What ever happen to sears quality? Only had for a week and ready to return this hunk of junk.
Bought this in May of 2012. While it does a nice job getting the dishes clean and it is much quieter than our old one, the upper rack is not as sturdy as the old one. It's been wobbly from the start and comes off the track on the left side frequently. After reading several reviews, it appears that this has been an issue with several users.
We replaced our 10 yr Kenmore, cheap version. THis upgrade was fantastic. This machine is quite and cleans very well. Dishes come out perfect. This was a great purchase for our family. I would recommend this DW over the cheaper versions any day!
