We are very disappointed with this machine! We carefully reviewed the different models from different stores and decided on this unit. Boy did I blow it! I have limited mobility and purchased this unit on-line. It doesn't clean the dishes! We have to wash or rinse every single plate, bowl, or utensil we put in it. When they all come out after going through the wash cycle, they are rough and scratchy. We have used three different cleaning and rinsing agents with the machine and have the same result with them all. What a disappointment! Come on Sears!
The panel on our last Kenmore dishwasher went bad. To have it replaced would have been $250, and the white panel wasn't available so it would have been a black panel on a white dishwasher. The repairman recommended buying the cheapest dishwasher because none of them are built to last anyway. This was the cheapest at.$279.99. We've only used it a couple times. The Normal Wash setting takes forever, well about 2 hours, which is about double the time of our last dishwasher. There is a one hour wash option that we haven't tried yet. I'm also disappointed that dishes have to be scraped/rinsed before being washed in the dishwasher. I think that defeats the efficiency of using a dishwasher. Rising/scraping wasn't necessary with our last dishwasher. On top of that, not everything came out perfectly clean, so that was disappointing. Maybe it wasn't rinsed enough. So, overall, I give it a fair rating because it will probably do the basic job, but it takes a long time and requires more effort from me.

I just wanted a good appliance that would get my dishes and flatware clean and not cost too much money. I chose Kenmore because I have a Kenmore washer/dryer and fridge and love them all. This dishwasher is much quieter than my old one and I like the fact that is doesn't flip top rack items over so they can fill up with water. I've had the machine for over a month and so far so good. I am very happy.
I was looking for an efficient dishwasher for an apartment. Came acrsoss this one and decided to give it a try. So far the tennants say it has been working very well and is much quieter than they thought it would be.

Perfect machine for apartment living. Right size and right color but most importantly right price. I would suggest this unit to any property manager that is looking to do mass replacements.
