We bought this refrigerator two years ago. It was within our budget, but I fetl the Kenmore name meant it would be a quality appliance. I can't believe how wrong I was. This piece of crap started having problems almost immediately. The shelf rails in the door cracked right in the middle and fell off, one at a time, until we were no longer able to put food on the shelves at all.
That took away a lot of storage space. The bottom crisper drawers seem to be made of the most brittle plastic known to mankind. The handles literally crumbled off in our hands and left jagged shards left for us to try to pull the drawers open with. Our option now is to take them out entirely and just put the food directly on the bottom of the unit. The freezer shelf rails are cracking now and I imagine they will be gone within the month. I lament the day our old refridgerator was carted away and this one was delivered. In summary, I would NEVER buy anything Kenmore again. Or Whirlpool. Please research completely before wasting your money. Invest a little more for a quality appliance that will last you for years, rather than skimping and going for the least expensive model to save a few dollars now. Trust me. I wish I had. I'd be better off with a bathtub full of ice.
Water was dripping at the bottom of the new fridge 5 days after delivery. After I heard the water dripping sound, I pull the fridge out and saw a puddle of water below. I called the customer support right away, but it would take 6 days for a repair appointment. Following a YouTube video on fixing Kenmore fridge water problem, I opened the freezer cover, but I did see any frozen tube or ice. I added some hot water into the hall per the video, but the water fell to the floor right away. I can see portion of inside blades are bended and one spot on plastic wall next to a copper joint is burned. I thought they are signs of low manufacturing quality for this product. For several days, I have to pull the fridge out every day to check and clean the water. The vinyl floor is full of marks due pulling the heavy fridge. I am praying the service technician will come on time tomorrow. Also the noise from the fridge is loader than I expected. A really bad experience :(
This refrigerator is the perfect size for our condo, it is very attractive as well as functional. It was delivered on time and by some very accommodating people. We are very satisfied with everything about this purchase.

This thing has been problematic since day one. Freezer wouldn't freeze, fridge wouldn't keep cold. We'd do repairs (fridges are easy to do yourself, parts are cheap, and all info is online), and it would work for a bit, but then it would die again. I feel like we've been courting food poisoning since we got the thing, because even with it cranked all the way up it almost never stays cold enough. The bars on the door cracked right in the center. The crisper drawers are tiny and poorly designed. It's *loud*. The door handles keep loosening and need constant tightening. Don't buy this. I wish we had waited and gone without a fridge for a month or so until we could afford something better. This is a truly horrible appliance. Don't waste your money.

We purchased this refrigerator for our downstairs bar. The refrigerator fit perfectly behind the bar and is very spacious inside. It has plenty of room for all the extras that we need for the bar. The price was right and the ladies at our Sears store in Reedsburg, Wisconsin were exceptionally helpful.

We like this item and it is what we needed for a second home....not too big. But after having it delivered and installed my husband says it is noisy...I have not seen it installed yet but I am hoping the noise on it will cut down after it runs for awhile.

THIS FREEZER REFRIGERATOR IS NO FRILLS, BUT IT DOES THE JOB. VERY QUIET AND ROOMY. THE COLOR LOOKS GREAT WITH IN MY KITCHEN. WHAT A BUY I GOT WITH ALL THE DISCOUNTS. HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY.
Great fridge. Great sale-good price. I wish there were more levels to adjust the glass shelves--I felt they were too evenly spaced. More notches in the middle side-part of the fridge would allow optimum spacing. Also, at the bottom of each each shelf on the door was not one continuous piece. So, objects would fall out since the horizontal shelf was not almost as wide as the shelf. A narrower "slit: across each shelf would be better. And, then, somehow the freezer door seems to not close as tightly if we had an item just out past a certain point over the shelf. Sure wish there would be more inside freezer space instead of the door taking up most of the empty area where the door needs to close. Hard to explain what I mean since terminology and descriptions about something I don't write about often hinders me.
