Not a useful product
As a microwave it is probably ok but I did not get past the fact that it is useless and annoying as a range hood. It is very loud and barely moves any air. I returned this product and got a free standing microwave and a normal hood.

Over the range Microwave

We purchased this over the range microwave when we remodeled our kitchen and it is doing great so far. The one push buttons is the best feature. I like being able to put the food in the microwave, push the number "2" to indicate I want it to cook for two minutes, and walk away while it automatically starts. The baked potato function works great. The only thing that may be a bit annoying is how loud the beep is once it is done cooking. I'm not sure if this is something that can be edited in the controls somehow but it is pretty loud. Other than that, it works great!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

My family teased me about my old microwave.

My family teased that my over the counter microwave was probably the first one manufactured. I like to get my full use out of my purchased. I feel like I have gone from a bicycle to a sport car. The microwave is roomy, quick and easy to use. The installation instruction were clear and easy to follow.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
An excellent bargain.

We purchased this Kenmore over-the-range microwave to replace our old, broken one and have been very happy with it. We didn't need a lot of the extravagant features of the highest-end microwaves, because we don't (and wouldn't) use it to roast or cook larger items. This microwave does a lot for the price point. It had several of the features we were looking for, such as one-button touch for defrosting, popcorn and potatoes. In addition, it has a few other convenience settings that we find useful - it has a sensor reheating that is great for leftovers, and a "melt/soften" button for butter. Overall, it has worked really well and we recommend it.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good Purchase

Replaces our old one in form and function. Only things that could have been better are the labeling of the function buttons. They are hard to see in dim lighting. And the 3 long beeps at end of cycle are different and louder that we expected. Otherwise a good value.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

OK except defrost cycle

Microwave is what I would expect from a microwave, I like the ability to just hit 2 and it will start for 2 minutes. I also like that you can turn the sound (beeps) off because the beeps are overly loud and persistent. The main issue is the defrost cycle. If you put in 1.0 lbs of meet it will cook at full power for about 1:40 before giving you a beep to tell you to turn it, separate it or remove thawed meet. By that time your meet is already cooking. If, like me you, you have the sound turned off you would never get a beep and it would heat on full power for over 2:30 before cycling to a lower power level. Of course you can manually enter power level 3 for defrost which is what I do to avoid cooking my meat on defrost. Poor programming.
