It beeps so obnoxiously at the end, I want to scream! "Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, beeeeeeeeeeeeep," and then repeat, repeat, repeat. It doesn't stop. Are you kidding me? I'm multitask queen. I have three kids. The phone rings sometimes. Sometimes someone comes to the door. Sometimes I have to use the bathroom. I sometimes can't run to the microwave immediately. So shut up already! I know it's done! It can sit! It's not going to burn! It can sit a minute! And the recipes often requires the food to sit for a few minutes. And I can SEE that it's done. So stop "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeping" over and over again. If you have ears, I recommend you NOT buy this microwave. Who designed this thing? I paid $124.99 on Black Friday and would have rather spent $300 for a reasonable beep; a soft gentle signal like microwaves past. No longer loyal to Kenmore and Sears. It's been pulling teeth to get this nightmare of a microwave exchanged. And that's a different story.
We bought this microwave to replace our other one thaf was on its last leg. Its bigger than my other one so that was a plusand my husband liked how easy it was to install. The only thing I wish could be changed is when it goes off, it continues to beat to let you know it's done until you hit cancel or open the door. This is minor so still giving it 5 stars.

this microwave has some much more functionality than my old countertop model. i never realized that you could microwave baked potatoes so well! baked apples are my next new venture. but i use the microwave every day for reheating, etc.
It looks great, works well, is quiet when running and does what we want it to do. I like it the best of the others I've seen in this price range. I would purchase it again if I needed to. There's room for improvement though. The beeper - I am convinced that they scoured the earth looking for the most annoying buzzer and then used that one. It is loud and long! I am not making this up. The first several times we used it, comments directed at me included: "Why did you buy this one?" "I would rather listen to the smoke detector", "PLEASE make it STOP!!!" Fortunately, there is a setting to turn the beeper off. We may forget our meatloaf in there for 2 weeks, but at least we don't have to listen to "the beep". The fan has 3 settings - High makes a wooshing sound. Medium makes a similar wooshing sound. Off works just about as well as either of the first 2 settings, because the fan doesn't do much. The "quick touch presets" - With every other microwave I've used, you press the popcorn button and it pops your popcorn. When you press the popcorn button on this one, however, it displays a cryptic message that looks like Klingon. There is a cheat sheet inside the door to translate the message and you need to select which option you want. It's not horrible, but why can't it just pop the popcorn?
Bought this unit to replace another Kenmore I had that burned out after 2 years. Stayed with Kenmore because of the sale price and Reward Points I had accumulated made an even better discount. Installation was simple enough. Satisfied with the oven so far. The End beeper is a bit obnoxious (3 long beeps...15 second pause....3 long beeps). That's the only drawback I've seen.
First of all the microwave works good, it was fairly easy to install and looks great, just what I wanted. The reason I gave it four stars is because of what other reviewers said, the beep to let you know it is done drives me crazy. It goes off three times, then very shortly after starts beeping again, within in a few minutes it will go off several times. Looking at the manual it appears you turn the sound off, but I couldn't get it to work. Sometimes you just aren't standing next the microwave when it's done. Other than the that, I haven't used most of it's many features, I like the plus 30 seconds button. I got a great black friday deal on it though, so not going to complain about the beeping too much, ok I probably will.
After having three previous microwave/hoods that were on the expensive end ($300-$500) all break after 2-3 years, I decided to see how long a lower price unit would last. It didn't seem like the more expensive ones were lasting any longer before breaking. This one is alright. The buttons are sometimes don't register a press on the first try, there is only one light and it is on one side so the other side is a little dark, the door latch is a little stiff to open and close.
This microwave is very visually appealing and it works great! Being someone that never installed a microwave before, it was very easy to install. My wife loves to use it. It is also very easy to operate.
